Helpful, friendly team manager. Excellent hotel with lovely spa. Good selection of excursions, Bombay Sapphire Distillery was excellent
Alison Bissett is the perfect group leader and scores 10/10 Some of the guides talked too much and were difficult to understand. This trip is brilliant and gave me a fantastic experience of both countries with many and varied activities and modes of transport. I thoroughly recommend it for anyone who has not been to Vietnam and Cambodia
Smoothly chaperoned throughout. Brilliant local guide (Lek) on this Festive Thailand Holiday. Kanchanaburi was without a doubt a good addition to the holiday, but my fellow travellers were of a right wing colonial persuasion, some of whom complained that the food was too Thai. I would not book again as the experience was not immersive enough for me, but I did appreciate at times the attention to detail.
The itineraries are well planned and use the experience of well travelled people. The destinations on offer are wide and the regular users of the company appreciate the personal nature of the company. The tour leaders are not that great and helpful on the trips I have done. Hotels are OK but some have been disappointing, last trip particularly.
Paul, whom I spoke to about booking a holiday was so helpful and I enjoyed the celebratory glass of prosecco with him. The girl on the other booking laptop remembered me from the Destinations Show before covid when she had presented me with a red suitcase set as I had booked a holiday! How is that for a great company.
Fascinating tour which immersed us in a very different and interesting culture. Simon the tour manager was fantastic and helped to make it a holiday not to be forgotten
Excellent all round.
The tour managers (both English & Indian) experience & excellent local knowledge & ability to overcome the unexpected, smoothly & with a smile. OT strives to cover all needs to make their holidays as stressless as possible for their clients. India was a memorable trip. Great experience. Unforgettable sights. Enormous fun.
It was the holiday of a lifetime, the manager (Steven) was very helpful and caring and made everything very easy, most of the excursions were really good, it was a lovely bunch of people in the group and the whole experience was fun from beginning to end. I'd love to do it all over again sometime. Thank you very much.
India I had a wonderful holiday with some amazing sights
Very nice holiday.
Well organised with Good quality hotel, and restaurants and a tremendous variety of interesting activities.
Fantastic Tour guide (Simon), between him and the local guide (Abi) they made the holiday, there were hiccups but those two resolved all problems we encountered.
Having a great tour manager and guide, the only thing I was disappointed in what’s the prices in the locations where we eat and having previously been in India, on business is where my colleague and myself was eating. It was a fraction of the price where one traveller Tuck us in £10 for a glass of wine, local wine small bottle of beer, £5.06 pound and £7.40 is a lot more expensive than the UK and I’m thinking of going on another Indian tour and not sure if I will go with one traveller
Brilliant holiday and well cared for the whole trip.
The top decks on the ship were absolutely freezing. We had to wear jackets at night when we saw the entertainment.. I think the dog's sledding was not safe for older people as we bounced around in icy track and there was nothing to hold on to on the sleds.. The entertainment on the ship was not very good they're scheduled during the day did not offer very much variety... Having said that I had a very good time it was a unique experience
I booked my first solo holiday with One Traveller to Vietnam and Cambodia, from my initial booking through to the end of the holiday the Company and the Tour Manager were superb. I look forward to booking another holiday with them soon
A remarkable feat to arrange 24 days without any problems from an organisation perspective . Experienced guides with a thorough knowledge and all in all a great holiday tour .
Superb destination. Superb hotel. Interesting excursions. Great company. Very early morning flights are not my favourite.
