Dec 12,2023As a first timer I was somewhat apprehensive about my holiday with a Solo specialist. No worries, I was made welcome & felt secure right from meeting the managers at Gatwick & then throughout. Despite rain almost every day, the week was very enjoyable. I would have preferred to go from either Exeter or Bristol airports as Heathrow & Gatwick are very difficult to get to. Also disappointed not to have the chauffeuring from home which was one of the reasons I was attracted to Onetraveller in the first place. It wasn’t clear that this was only free for 100 mls. People living in Devon & Cornwall are pretty well at a big disadvantage.

Dec 12,2023My trip to New york was all that I was hoping for. The intinery was interesting and contained certain visits that I wanted. The hotel and guides were very good. My companions were fun and friendly and we were well looked after. The trip being over Thanksgiving made it a bit special.

Dec 07,2023Everything was as described. Difficult to manage 23 people who want to do everything at once! Lovely hotels and guides, all wanting to give you the best. Maybe leave out Kep, long way to go for a visit to a coffee plantation, and the town was not very green with plastic rubbish everywhere. Another day in Halong so you can ride the cable care and big wheel 🤭 Let’s face it, we’re all big kids at heart.

Dec 05,2023Excellent service from initial contact with OT until the end of the holiday to Vietnam and Cambodia. Good quality hotels were used throughout providing great facilities and service. Itinerary was excellent with a good mix of visiting the main sites, local families and sufficient free time too. Food in restaurants was, in the main, good with multiple courses. My fellow travellers were a great friendly group and lifelong friendships were made. Our tour manager Steve Taylor was friendly and did a good job of keeping us on track and worked closely with the local guides. I would not hesitate to recommend this trip with OT but please note that good mobility is essential to enjoy this trip to its full potential.

Dec 05,2023The entire tour was very well organised and both the tour managers and the Egyptian guides were knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. There were a few very long days with early morning starts, which were really unavoidable, however they were rather tiring. The sights we visited were amazing and this is one of those once in a lifetime trips that I am so glad I made. The only negative I would have is that the food on the boat was repetitive and unimaginative, and I also would have liked to see more local foods offered.

Dec 05,2023All the booking process was faultless and I was kept informed throughout. The arrangements for meeting up went well. The tour package was excellent and it included everything that I wanted from Ancient Egypt. My One Traveller tour rep and tour guide were both informative and helpful. The Nile boat was also very accommodating. My only regret was that the new Cairo Museum was not open and there was a lot of waiting around on the last day which was beyong One Travellers control.

Dec 12,2023The group came together at London Heathrow with Penny and Carol, our tour managers, who stayed with us for the full length of our trip to Egypt. They were friendly and efficient and with the support of the two Egyptian guides ensured we were well looked after for the whole holiday. The travel and tour arrangements worked seamlessly from start to finish and the guides extensive knowledge of Egyptian history was invaluable in enabling us to get the most from our trip. I enjoyed it so much that on my return home I booked another holiday with One Traveller.
