Oct 15,2014I have had original swat classic 9 side zip for a little over 3 years. My first pair lasted for 3 years and I never took good care of them (only used cheap liquid shine on them). The "break in period" was a dream, no rubbing and no blisters. They have been through 3 harsh winter with plenty of salt on paths during patrols and many kilometres of walking on hot asphalt. Finally I did have to retire my boots but only because the rubber sole had worn down til completely flat. Now I have purchased the same boots (plus proper boot care). I am happy to report the same comfort. My feet will be smiling for at least another 3 years.

Oct 14,2014Wore boots without breaking them in and after a patrol shift actually found that my feet were not achy as usual. Good tread grip without the clunky sole design in some boots. My only suggestion is to add a tab on the back of the boot to assist in pulling them on (Force model).

Oct 14,2014Fantastic Boots! I ordered these boots to replace a worn out set from another manufacturer that have been discontinued. Original SWAT was very easy to order from, and excellent communications about my purchase and shipping. The boots arrived as promised in very quick time. When I opened the box, I blown away by the construction of the boot - excellent and tough as steel. Once I put them on, they felt better than my old comfortable broken-in boots. I have worn them around the carpeted floors to make sure they feel and fit the way I like - and they do! I expect these to last for many years of standing, walking and running in comfort! Thank You for an absolutely awesome product - the Classic 9" Safety Tan.

Oct 12,2014The boots are tough lightweight and comfortable, particularly in the fall winter and spring of eastern carolina. Plus they look good for a long time (I've had them before). Ordering directly from SWAT was easy and my order came quickly with enclosed instructions and packing label for return if necessary. Thankfully it was not needed.

Oct 07,2014Ive been through atleast 5 pair of the classic 9" from Original Swat. The service is allways spot on and the boots are second to none. Anyone working construction or other not so boot freindly jobs should try them. I bet they wont go back to other top brands. Ive tried them all and found the boots that i will be wearing untill they dont make em any more.

Oct 05,2014Safety Toe Metro Side Zip Boot. I work in a plant. The platforms our machines sit on have very aggressive anti slip serrated steel bars for us to stand on. Everything is also covered in oil. The platforms sheered the lugs off my boots in 1 week of use. The boots are stripped down to a bare minimum of rubber and in some spots worn thru to the sole. However I rated 3 Stars because I thought they were the most comfortable break-in period and the anti slip did work. These boots would be perfect for street use however cannot take heavy factory boots.

Sep 25,2014I found these boots on instagram. I am always on my feet 10+ hours a day, 6 days a week, and my ankle hurts. I got these boots, 6 inch and 8 inch and it feels so good. it supports my ankles and makes working conditions more comfortable. I had back pains caused by constant pressure on the heel, and paddings or gel inserts does not do the trick for me. Investing in these boots are a must, if you are constantly on your feet. i feel like this will relieve the stress or pressure off my heel, ball of foot, and support my ankles.

Sep 24,2014Great boots as this is my second pair and S.W.A.T. boots are second to none. Since I got off the road and now a bailiff in the courthouse, I am standing on my feet all day. S.W.A.T. boots make it bearable for me. Thanks again for a great set of boots!

Sep 18,2014Just received my 2nd pair of S.W.A.T. boots. Same model and style, and they haven't changed one thing about them after nearly 5 years. PERFECT FIT, PERFECT SUPPORT. And the old pair will still be employed for "dirty" chores, yard and kennel work and such. I participate in 3-gun competition and the S.W.A.T.'s are absolutely sure-footed when it comes to shoot n' scoot. I simply wish they had been available to me when I was in the Coast Guard in the 1970's. I would highly recommend them to any and all active service men and women.

Sep 17,2014Out of the box I was blown away as to how light these boots really we're compared to the third pair of Classic 9". Once I had them on it felt like a had on running shoes. I think I may went on so much in the office in spreading the word around I became irritating! Thanks OS, well done!

Sep 04,2014i got a pair of their Classic 9" boots and they're great. Very light and very comfortable. My main issue is that they came out of the box pretty stiff and took a little time to break in, but after walking around for a while they felt fine. The biggest issue I have with Original SWAT, is that they emailed me my password, which means that they're storing passwords in plain text and have access to them. I would recommend against making an account with them until they've rectified the issue. EDIT: The above is no longer the case. Original SWAT's response to my review definitely made me change it from 4 stars to 5. Awesome customer support, awesome boots! I'd recommend them to anybody.

Sep 04,2014I worked in the security field for 10 years, constant patrol and in every weather condition. I first got the inch zip boots which were great but not waterproof. Then I got the waterproof ones and loved them. The boot shape feels much better than the bates boots or acg's. Acg's are great but too heavy. Original swat boots fit great and are light and easily maintained. The only problem is that the sole is very hard. This is good in that it gives support, but tends to hurt if you don't have good soles. But I have heel spurs and plantar fasciitis so it may just be me. If you patrol def check out original swat, just get your own insoles.

Sep 03,2014I am a big fan of Original Swat boots, they are light weight and comfortable, however, I have had a few problems in the past. The last pair I had developed a squeak in the right boot. It was very noticeable with every step. The pair before that, the pull tabs broke off of both zippers. In all fairness, I put a lot of miles on them without problems before they went bad.
