Apr 01,2014Used boots for a 24 hour endurance event and traveled 40 miles by foot. It rained the entire time and we covered a variety of terrain. Covered asphalt, mud, snow and river crossings. Feet were wet but coupled with wool socks stayed warm and comfortable.

Apr 01,2014No problems what so ever with the Company my order was handled very well and with no complaints about the service, however, and this is partly my fault here: for the last several years I have purchased the Metro Traction boot from Original Swat.com and my experience has been top notch every time, those boots seem to last about a year before I needed new ones. I have bragged to my family and co workers that every pair of boots I have purchased have been the best fitting, most comfortable, "right out of the box" boots I have ever worn. On my last purchase I bought a different type and while the fit was good I wore them for over a week and they still didn't fit as well as the Metro Traction. Again not sure if I am to blame for the different brand which has the blood pathogen repellant, or if the comfort in this boot just isn't as good. I will still purchase my boots from Original Swat but I feel assured I will be going back to the Metro Traction.

Apr 01,2014I've been riding bikes since 1976 and have bought many different brands and styles of boots. I'm on my second pair of zip up waterproof SWAT boots. These boots are light, comfortable and they keep your feet dry even in heavy rain, I'll never buy another brand of boot!

Apr 01,2014i work as a UPS loader so i am on my feet for 5-6 hours a day. Through the hot and the cold these boot have held up to the task. UPS is hard on the soles and toes of the boots, both are holding up well.

Apr 01,2014These boot zippers work great! Will not hesitate to buy 8 inch boots again as long as I can put these zippers on them. The zippers make getting your boots on and off simple and easy. Delivery was fast.

Apr 01,2014Tan makes these size 14 boots look monsterous. But they fit fine. It took less than a day to break them in and I wear them to work already. They are for my motorcycling in the Patriot Guard and the American Legion Riders and will be day to day wearers if it isn't raining...I don't want to get the suede look dirty. This is my third pair. Others have been black.

Apr 01,2014Let me start off by saying that this is a great product, but there are some minor issues that need to be fixed before I can confidently give it a 5/5, based on my experience. Others may differ, and that's alright. When I first got the product I was excited, I immediately tried them on and they felt wonderful. Lightweight and soft, yet firm, contact to the ground with each step, a slight squeak here and there but I put into consideration that it was brand new after all so no complaints there. As the days went on I noticed that there was this annoying bump in the inner-middle side of the tongue, which would be located around the inner ankle. It turns out it was the stitching of the material that caused this uncomfortable lump. I seem to have gotten used to this issue for the most part and when the issue resurfaces, it can be solved by simply shifting the tongue towards your outer side. (My friend tried it on and had no problems with the stitching, it could just be me). I also noticed that there are some threads that stick out which may cause it to look as if it was coming undone, but that's not the case, just something that may bother some. The quality of the boots are pretty good, but the consistency seems to be somewhat noticeable. After a week of wear, the tread on the front-center part of my boot seems to be coming apart, notably along the tread zigzag design, and therefore causes this irritable squeaking no matter what surface I walk on. The tread on my right boot is fine and still in one piece, not so much as a tear. I really love the zipper on the side of the boot though, it is absolutely wonderful and really makes taking off and on the boots really easy. The boots are comfy, and as they advertise, very light. You could wear the 9" boots and still look like you're wearing normal shoes if your pants covers them. The boots pretty much what the company advertises, the only word of warning is that you shouldn't expect them to be perfect in every way shape or form, and that they may not hold out in terms of endurance as long as you'd hope them to.

Apr 01,2014Not only are my boots my every day footwear they do go through a bit of abuse playing airsoft. I wear these things whenever I go out and they are the most comfortable most durrable boots I have owned. Personally if these continue to meet my expectations they will be the only boot I buy in the future.
