Jun 21,2020Summary: Avoid at all costs. Get a regular accountant. You don't need this headache in your life - trust me. Osome initially asked me to leave a review 3 months after signing up. At that point, they were clearly trying to keep me happy. After I gave them 5 stars, their service declined rapidly. It started with small things (slow replies, a few mistakes here and there, etc) but after 15 months using them, I can confidently say that this has been one of the biggest headaches for our company. They're clearly understaffed, negligent, and don't seem to care very much about delivering a reliable service. They filed our accounts late, which resulted in us getting fined over Β£500. They tried to appeal the fine, but as part of it they asked us to sign a letter essentially lying to HMRC about a mistake that they made. They've also made mistakes with our payroll filings, resulting in fines and interest payments being due, not to mention hours and hours and hours of my time wasted. I like to think I'm open-minded and I like to support start-ups that are trying to innovate. If their services improve I'd be happy to update this review. For the time being however, my advice would be to PLEASE STAY CLEAR.

Jun 05,2020I have been using a classic accounting service who didn't do my books. Once I started using OSOME for bookkeeping, they've uncovered many issues that went unnoticed by our accountant, apparently we were owed thousands of pounds by HMRC! Amazing Osome staff now take care of our accounts and while keeping a close look on our books, they are able to ensure our accounts and tax is optimised. Communication is great, respond to my messages instantly and resolve my querries super fast. Love the service and can't recommend enough!

May 14,2020Due to the COVID 19 pandemic, Osome was offering free 15-minute phone consultations with their accountants for small businesses. As the owner of a small business, I took them up on the offer as I had a few questions about my accounts. They were terrific. The accountant was really knowledgeable and helpful and because one of my questions required a little more research he kindly offered to find out the answer and then come back to me, which he did both with an email and a follow-up call. It was great advice and much appreciated. Thank you!

Dec 16,2019Very bad company. We needed to open a company and an account in Singapore. We found OSOME and found out that they are Russian! , including their director Victor Lysenko. It was convenient for us. Having opened the company, we went to Singapore to meet with banks. Some banks refused to open an account for us before the meeting. After that, we became aware that our director and secretary in the company that osome used for us work in 60 companies and are conducting 3 legal proceedings. But Osome lied that the director works for everyone in a pair of companies. All banks refused us, Osome did not offer a refund paid for the year ahead. Dec 02,2019I had to set up a limited company as I moved into a freelance role, and I found the bureaucracy overwhelming. Many accountants I reached out to either failed to respond to my questions or charged extortionate amounts of money for their services. I joined Osome on the recommendation of a friend and I'm incredibly happy I did. The service works through a simple chat app. The staff are always available to answer questions, and they deal with all the administration on my behalf, meaning that I can simply use my income and not worry about legal and administrative filings. I could not recommend this service enough for *anyone* who is in a similar position as me.

Oct 08,2019Osome is Awesome! I set up a business and was getting bogged down in the admin. Osome has taken this all away from me. I have regular interactions with "my team" as I call them (because they do feel like part of my business). They use the Osome app, to gently nudge me to send in paperwork, etc. and they provide me with regular updates and reminders regarding finances and filing deadlines. They have provided me with help and support when I have needed it. I highly recommend them.
