Most likely you will get flight delay or disruption email right before the your flight date and Ovago will not be much of help. For support Ovago will ask you to contact the airline yourself and airline will say to you "your travel agent needs to contact us NOT you" you will be in limbo forever. Save yourself a headache and money, stay away from Ovago, I had to purchase different ticket and still did not get a refund from Ovago.

Ovago did nothing to help with the nightmare is sorted with untypical airport policies of not being able to carry a purse or even food without it being weighed in addition to the almost empty 7 kg carry-on bag that we had taken away from us at the airport and charged over $100 for. I spent many hours on the phone, trying to get assistance from Ovago only for them to tell me that they’re going to listen to our call for hours and never get back to me. Finally, after everything was through they got back to me and offered me a $50 voucher to continue using their services again after giving them almost $8000 for multiple tickets that we booked through them to be treated like total crap at an airport without proper seating being given to us or information about these untypical policies were Colombo airport charges for a person and even food to be carried. The customer service is ridiculous and does not get back to you in a timely fashion and when they do, they do not actually do anything to help.

They show more aggressive prices for flights than most other online travel agents, however they call you 45 min later to indicate that the price was increased by the airline and that you have to pay more to have your booking confirmed. Their representative on the phone refuses to take any formal client complain. Not sure if they are regulated in the US but clearly it seems to be very aggressive marketing tactics and poor customer service.
3rd class service Never book flight with these scammers, at first they charged me 1230$ for a flight,then when there was 10 days left with the flight they charged more 430$ for the same flight man that sucks Please do not get into this scam book with the legit sites
FAKE WEBSITE - I made the booking 7hours ago from houston to dublin and i still haven't received any confirmation. Called their customer service 4 times to ask if everything is okay but these bunch of idiots had no idea and was promised a call back which obviously i never received. Tried calling them again as other airline ticket prices are increasing but they blocked my number. THIS IS A FAKE COMPANY. Do not book from them. Now I will have to buy the ticket with increased price because of these ****holes
So I booked a trip from San Francisco to Christchurch during this Christmas break. While I was at the airport for the first leg of the journey, Alaska had a 3 hour delay (AS3435) (due to low visibility) and given that my connecting flight only had a 3h buffer, there was absolutely no way for me to make the second international flight. So I went to Alaska's service desk and they told me they couldn't do anything because the travel agent booked this flight and they couldn't change me to another flight. Naturally I called the travel agent and they kept transferring me to the flight modification department where there was no one answering. On the phone they keep saying that I was first in line but no one would answer. When I tried to call another department, someone would pick up and say the same thing. I got so angry that I said to one of guys on the phone that I will not hang up until someone from that department speaks to me right now. They then said "I will have them call you back" Obviously no one did. I also submitted a call back and you guess it right, no one called. Over and Over again, I called and got sent to the blackhole 8 times. It was clear that they wanted to offload the responsibility to the airline and make them pay for my flight change or something. Because when I finally got to LAX for my next flight that I was so destined to miss, they claimed that they tried to call me (while I was in the air flying to LA), what a convenient time to call?? When I finally got to LAX, I had exactly 15 minutes before the departure time of my connecting flight (NZ3), I ran as fast as I could to the gate, only to watch the plane door get shut in my face. I panicked and went to the next gate which was another flight (NZ5) to Auckland and begged the staff there to let me board. Obviously it didn't work. Finally, I was booked on another flight (Qantas flight via Sydney QF12 and QF 3) by Alaska at LAX after and hour of yelling and negotiating. I finally got to my destination after 37 hours of traveling. To top this up, Qantas lost my luggage for the entirety of my trip in New Zealand. I was traveling without luggage for 10 days! But the moral of the story is that one should never do business with OVAGO!
This is by far the worst experience with a company I have ever had. Order number 122263723 - I paid an extortionate amount of money for flights to New Zealand in December through OVAGO ($2800). My husband was catastrophically injured and suffered a spinal cord injury 2 days before we were supposed to fly out. I sent the letter from the neurologist and intake paperwork to ovago showing them my husband was not permitted to fly and they assured me I would have a flight credit to use later. They confirmed all of this with me including relevant fees that would be deducted (which they chose not to refund me), leaving me with a flight credit of $2200. I then went to rebook the flight for this upcoming February 2025 and was told that, despite the new flight price on their website being $500 LESS than what I had already paid, I would have to pay an ADDITIONAL $340 on top of what I had already paid (so $3140 for two flights that on their website are currently $2200). Their explanation was that the new flight would cost $2800 regardless and then I would have to pay the fees for canceling on top of this. This was NEVER communicated to me, I have an email explaining the flight credit and nowhere does it say this. I want a refund for the additional money I had to pay (the $340). I will report this to my states AG office and the CFPB. I will never use ovago again and will tell everyone I know about my experience. Avoid them at all costs.
Extremely Poor Customer Service Review: My experience with Ovago was frustrating. The customer service representative struggled to communicate in English, turning a straightforward situation into an unnecessary ordeal. Instead of resolving my issue, their approach created more drama and confusion. I expected professional assistance but was deeply disappointed. This level of service is unacceptable.

I was looking for flights for a short vacation with my 2 sons in February. Did the usual thing and compared the various websites. Piper @ Ovago was very patient in helping me to find the best flight-routes, times, and airport combinations. We ended up with a really good deal:-)
I had flights booked for 900 dollars it took days to confirm and in the end rejected. Now I have to pay 1200 for the same exact flight due to the rejection of my booked tickets. I'll never trust this company Ovago again

I purchased a non-refundable ticket but later I realized I won’t be able to take a flight on that date. So I reached out to support and the support team, namely Percy, went above and beyond to resolve the issue with the best possible outcome: the airline agreed to issue the full refund. This is the highest level and the great example of customer-oriented service. I will recommend OVAGO to my friends.
I saved $150 on the initial ticket price by buying my tickets through Ovago, and spent about 4 hours on the phone with both Alaska Airlines and Air New Zealand trying to deal with the problems created by buying my tickets through Ovago (frequent flyer number and TSA traveler number not entered, name input incorrectly, couldn't upgrade seats). I was never able to upgrade my seats because of purchasing tickets through Ovago; I will never buy tickets from a 3rd party seller again.
