Nov 22,2024Booked a flight for $244.22. One hour later, Ovago emails saying the price changed to over $370. DO NOT BOOK WITH OVAGO. See reply from Ovago below. Note that I had already booked and THEN the price change was implemented. Had I booked directly with the airline, I would not have had this issue. This is why I stand by my review.

Nov 21,2024I have been researching flights to Rome for a cruise that I have planned for a little while now. Could not quite find the price and itinerary I desired. Ran across Ovago.com thru the website Skyscanner. I engaged with them thru their chat portal and was connected to Greyson. He made my day. The customer service was top notch. He stayed in touch thru out the entire process from research, selection, and payment. He guided me thru every step and kept me informed about the progress until my flight was confirmed and tickets were issued. In this day and age when you have no idea what you will get thru these services, it was refreshing and encouraging to know, companies like Ovago exist. Can't say enough about Greyson and his customer service. 5 stars.

Nov 20,2024I am extremely disappointed with Ovago’s customer care team and their handling of my case. Since November 16th, I have been trying to resolve an issue with my suspended tickets, which were marked as "no-show" due to a missed flight caused by Alaska Airlines. Despite multiple calls and emails, Ovago has consistently postponed resolving the matter, claiming they need a written response from China Airlines, even though I’ve already confirmed directly with China Airlines that no penalties apply, only service fees. The lack of urgency and constant delays have caused significant financial losses and stress. While some agents, like Dave, were friendly and genuinely tried to help during this difficult situation, others were shockingly unprofessional. One agent, Rigo, was extremely rude, interrupting and interrogating me instead of listening to my concerns. He even made dismissive remarks like, “Why would airlines listen to you and remove the penalties or no-show because you told them so?” This level of disrespect is unacceptable, especially when airline agents I spoke to were polite and understanding. I strongly urge Ovago to review their customer support training and evaluate whether agents like Rigo belong in a customer-facing role. Overall, this experience has been unnecessarily stressful, and I would not recommend Ovago to anyone seeking reliable travel support. I will update my review if they resolve the issue soon.

Once at the site, I started talking to Josie, who asked me about my flight requirements and then proceeded to provide the best flight options at the best price, her customer service and attention to detail made my whole experience transition less and smooth. Nov 12,2024I tried to make a booking for an international flight. It took them more than 18 hours to get back to me with another flight itinerary which was longer and more expensive. I then had many back-and-forth messages until they agreed to give me my original booking at the original price. THEN they told me my bank declined the purchase- which is IMPOSSIBLE and a LIE. THEN they told me they needed to call my personal number for "verification purposes". Many lied and excuses all to cover up the fact that the incredibly cheap fare they were offering did not exist. Ovago may not be a scam but they are definitely not trustworthy.

Nov 10,2024Pathetic company. I am still waiting on confirmation of my booking where it has been close to 72 hours. Meanwhile, the airfare would obviously climb. I checked with them each day for the first two days, when the airfare was still the same. They mentioned the ticket would be issued within 1-2 hours. How can you trust such an agency who wont even book the tickets at the price you wanted, so they can later jack it up once prices go up ? Places like Kayak and Skyscanner should ban these guys. They are a typical bait and disappear company. Dont book with them. You have been warned...!!!!

Nov 07,2024Booked a flight - ticket wasn’t issued due to a supposed problem with my credit card. I confirmed the payment 4 times - with the amount being charged to my account 4 times. I called my bank which mentioned there was no issue on their end. OVAGO after two calls was not able to issue the ticket citing the payment didn’t go through. I am now working on getting the booking canceled and my money back. Terrible service - and not trustworthy. Would recommend booking with a reputable provider. Edit: It has been 5 calls with Ovago representatives since the issue started, my bank has confirmed 3 times that the payment went out and the "credit card issue" that Ovago is stating is incorrect. So far $4800 were charged and no ticket issued. The company as well as their service is a joke. In response to the Ovago comment below: The comment misrepresents what actually happened. "No charges were applied" - this is incorrect. Only after I asked my bank to recall the 3 payments deducted from my credit card from Ovago and to flag them for fraudulent behavior the payment was reversed. There was no assistance from Ovago to make this happen.
