Pangea helped me every step of the way by directing my needs in a professional manner. I would high recommend this company because they make sure you’re all set if possible in every way that they can.
The maintenance staffs are always on time.
I WOULD LIKE TO THANK SHAKLYIA CRUMP, OFFICE MANAGER AT PANAGEA RIVERDALE LEASING OFFICE FOR HER AWESOME PROFESSIONAL SERVICE, ASSISTING ME WITH MY LEASE RENEWAL. I AM A SENIOR TENANT WHO LOVES MY APARTMENT. GOD BLESS AND THANKING PANGEA MANAGEMENT STAFF AS WELL . DARLENE BESS
The people in customer service needs more assistance and training!! And the people who show apartments need to manage their time better. I’ve been trying to see an apartment for two weeks and I already had 3 mixups. Last week the lady showing the apartment was 45 minutes late so I had to reschedule. Thursday morning I scheduled a show showing for Saturday afternoon later in the day another representative called me back to confirm my scheduling just to find out that the lady won’t be able to show the apartment on Saturday only Sunday so I booked the showing for Sunday 10:30 am now it’s Sunday and I’m at the apartment but now I’m being told that my showing isn’t till 1:00 it’s a lot of miscommunication and silly mistakes that are being made that needs to be fixed the weekend is my only free time and you guys have waisted my time and money two weekends in a row that makes me not want to rent with this company!!!! Do better!!!!! Train better!!!!! Communicate better!!!
So far ..so good
I applied to Pangea, when my little brother was with them for 4 years. Having stayed with him for a few months, I love how the apartments were new and painted. My background was spotty a few years before when I applied and got rejected, but I had to try again so I waited for a few years. Eventually i applied this year and I got accepted. I'm so excited to now begin a new chapter in my life. Thank you Pangea for giving me another chance.
I appreciate that someone fixed the leak in my shower. However I wasn’t notified that anyone was coming. I happened to be in the apartment having furniture delivered when the maintenance man came. He was more than nice. Also, I noticed that a couple of things were moved when I had my keys dropped off for my mailbox. I’m a very friendly person, but I don’t like the fact that someone entered my apartment without my permission, while I was at work.
Everyone I talked to told me different things, no one is on the same page. Had to do all kinds of extra stuff to get the lease, only to be told after I got it that they didn't know why I was asked to do all the extra stuff.. it was unclear whether heat was included in the lease, I've been told yes and no.. I'm still not sure.. I picked up the keys and was told the mailbox key would be in the apartment.. it was not.. I called tenant support trying to get ahold of the property manager.. to no avail. They put in a work order. He would get back to me in 1-3 days.. he didn't. How am I supposed to check my mail.. they are very frustrating. There are people with good customer service although my experience so far indicates they are few and far between. It's a nice apartment but I dread every time I have to deal with them.
It's affordable and it is situated in a nice location
I love Pangea and how they really help you find the apartment that works for you. Plus, they are always on top of everything even maintenance.
I honestly wish there was more communication between the property manager and the lessee, overall I love my apartment.
I had nothing but an absolute nightmare experience with this company. I was repeatedly given false information about the signing/leasing process, which pushed my move in further and further. They didn't notify that they needed more for my application. I had to call to figure that out. I then uploaded the new information and checked every day to see if it was still being reviewed. After the third day, someone told me nobody was actually looking at it since I didn't notify the approvals department (as if I was supposed to know that). They only let you set up one showing at a time as part of their dumb policy. Then, they called and canceled day of on three units I was supposed to look at. Since I was moving from out of state, it just added to the already long list of problems. They have false amenities listed on some units like in-unit laundry, so make sure to double check when viewing. All in all, you are probably better off with something else if you can find it.
place was clean upon my arrival! i love it here , great neighborhood. the only thing is that the walls are thin, you hear everything during the day . but over all its very peaceful and its perfect for people who are getting there first apartment.
So far so good no complaints
I like Everything about my apartment even though my back door nob did not get fixed it’s still a lovely apartment and clean it’s worth 1075 a month
The move in process was a bit frustrating. I was not told I had to sign the lease so early and then felt pressured to do so. The day I got my keys, the online system wasn’t working and I was told I had to go do the walk in payment (which I have never done). Thankfully the online payment option started working and it saved me the trip to the nearest Kroger (a 30 minute + addition to the process). The apartment was clean, but there are paint splatters on all floor surfaces. That being said, the staff has been friendly, the neighbors I have met have been friendly, and I feel it’s a safe environment.
The staff are terrific, and my apartment is clean and has been welk kept by prior tenant. I think the inspections that the staff do will help the property.
Affordable, friendly staff
Update II: I checked the email I signed up for Trustpilot with. Trustpilot did send a request for my info to give to Pangea. I responded to that email, however Pangea has not reached out. I’m not trying to play phone tag with them anymore. They have the info they need to get in contact with me if they want. Update: I don’t know why it says that Pangea contacted me. That’s a straight out lie. I hope Pangea told trust pilot this and trust pilot didn’t just put that there. Landlords tenant court reached out to invite us over though. We showed up and Pangea dropped the case. If Pangea would be as prompt and efficient at fixing things like they do with collecting their payments, maybe they’d be ok. Nothing of course has been fixed and nobody called me either. Don’t you believe that ish!!! ————————————————————— I have a brother and sister who are disabled. They are currently renting a 2br on Burleith in Baltimore. Let me say, the struggle to get into these apartments was real! Mixups, push backs, them giving the apt. to someone else which was supposed to be for them, ect. They have 1 small garbage bin for this complex. It is a block and a half away and located back in an area that looks like a rapists dreams. Wish I could post pics. The laundry is dirty, unkept and quite laughable. I believe 3 machines an 2 dryers for the entire property, if I remember correctly. The staff are rude and not helpful at all. Phone tag is truly an issue. Text isn’t much better. Getting them to fix something which should have been done (even before the move in) is like pulling teeth! I’ve spoken to the property manager, assistant property manager, a countless others trying to get them to fix some things for months. It really shouldn’t be that hard. They said they only have two people to fix things in this particular community. Maybe they should some more workers. Just a thought. I must say that the apartment does look nice. The mice think so as well. That’s why they are moving in to the humble little abode. Hope they don’t have anything serious that needs to get fixed. I have little faith that it would be taken care of properly. Time will tell. Don’t be late on your rent. It’s my fault that it was late this month and I didn’t remember to make their payment till a few hours after the deadline. There were 2 different court fees applied to the account the next day. I started not to pay, since I heard they come around knocking on your door if you’re late. I wanted them to come so I could hopefully get them to do the stuff. But I ended up paying because I didn’t want to put their tenancy or credit in jeopardy over this. I’d prefer not to get that response about my concerns being escalated. Heard that already, still nothing. Just do it and I’ll be happy. Anyway, everyone’s experience is not the same. If they can work on some issues it will probably be ok.
