Felipe Munoz, my Pennymac contact was wonderful to deal with. He checked in with me every week and if I had a question he always got back to me very promptly. He clearly explained every stage of the process and all went as expected. Between talking mortgage business we also had some interesting conversation, never felt that it was just business. Professional yet friendly. Overall a good experience and because of this I would definitely consider Pennymac for future refi options. Five stars

Pennymac was on it from start to finish! At a very busy time, they closed on our house in 29 days while other lenders in the area were taking 45. Their process is efficient, effective, and very impressive. Loved the level of communication throughout, enjoyed working with all levels of the team!

Don't waste your time with this company. During Covid-19 this company offered a deferment plan. They stated that my credit wouldn't be compromised by doing so. I got on and then BOOM my credit scores dropped over 100 pts.. They said they couldn't help me at all and told me to dispute it. The credit companies said that PennyMac has to fixed this. They still didn't want to help. Okay then I applied for a grant, and the stopped my auto draft and removed my payment until the grant was paid out for Alabama Hardest Hit Program. Then BOOM my credit took another hit that stated I had a late payment. I've been asking them to fix this issue because I made a one time payment along with having a automatic draft set up so I won't be late waiting on the grant to pay out. They still won't fix my issue with this. PennyMac doesn't care about customers and the fact ppl take their credit seriously. I have never been with a company like this. They didn't even call me to tell me they stopped my automatic payments and removed my one time payment. This is unacceptable and unorganized. I will be letting the world know including my lawyer.

Penny mac didn't seem to need much from me a few documents but not many and they took care of the rest handling everything else. It was very nice to do business with them I would never finance a home with anyone else.

One word!! Professional!! Ed, the Loan Officer and Blen, the Home Loan Specialist. They made it happen all within 5 weeks!! Just awesome from start to finish. There was one simple situation that occurred and that was signing the closing documents. The code entered to sign the closing documents was incorrect, but it got rectified within 24 hours. The process was made easy, thank GOD for the wonderful experience. May there be many more like Ed and Blen in the industry.
