Apr 24,2020I thought they were a good lender and when attempting to refinance they approved and made a deal in February where we had no closing fees and everything was perfect. They sold us the moon. Now here we are in April after they dropped in communication and mishandled our file they now want us to pay them to refinance. Then when we ask for an explanation of how or why this had changed nothing is explained. They just talk in circles and won't even acknowledge their mistake. DO NOT TRUST THEM!

Apr 23,2020After 2 years with our previous lender, our mortgage was sold to PM, and 3 months after that PM increased our payment $200 due to an “escrow analysis”. Called and spoke with their “escrow specialist”, and they rudely informed me that my home insurance had went up (PM actually contacted my insurance company requested a higher insured amount) , and that they “anticipated” a higher tax rate for the coming year and that any unused funds will be refunded back to me.. yeah right!!!!!

Great rate too! The notary service out of Spokane did not follow the Covid-19 protocols communicated to us to ensure distancing and health preservation and preventative measures, but she was not a PennyMac employee.

Apr 22,2020Had a wonderful experience with Penny Mac, especially under the current Covid crisis. I would refer everyone to this lender! The only issue that ever came up was with my realtor and title company having trouble getting through to Penny Mac when they needed to. I'm not sure why, but they did. For some reason the number they had for contacting PM would not get them through to a person to speak with. I was able to get through every time so I ended up having to contact for them. That was most likely a glitch in the system because of the current situation with Covid. Penny Mac is absolutely the best lender I've ever worked with. Honest, professional, on time and save us TONS of money!!!! Extremely easy to work with.
