Oct 28,2020I was promised a pre-aproval letter 3 weeks ago. Have emailed all the requested documents to the loan officer (James) Mike Byers, but never heard back even after leaving 3 voice messages and 2 emails. They are simply ignoring new customers. To busy doing re-financing I guess. If you are looking for a new mortgage - do not waste your time with PennyMac - do directly somewhere else for your new financing.

Oct 27,2020DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! BEWARE! I was $16 short on a payment and they sent me to collections saying I did not make any payment which was a lie. They charged me $45 in late fees on top of that. They refused to credit late fees even though I have never made a late payment in the 9 years I have had this account. This is a Bad company to deal with. Save yourself the trouble and find a better lender! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Oct 27,2020Worse company. Could not get a hold of anyone during closing. It has taken months to close. Run ....do not this company. I will probably cancel my loan and find a new one. No customer service. Sent numberous emails and phone calls. Nobody is there.
