Had to involve the resolutions team to find out why work I was expecting to be done had not been done and when other work would be completed. Now awaiting completion.

The only thing Places for people care about is your rent being paid in full on time every month. Do not care about your disabled needs. Both my husband and I have disabilities with both of us having blue badges but if We park 1 inch over the line of a very small parking space neighbour complains then housing officer sends a letter saying its Anti social behaviour yet when I asked for a bigger space it was a flat no. The police have been involved with neighbour dispute yet Places for people not willing to change parking spaces even though there are spaces that are not used by any tenants. I am in process of getting advice due to our disabilities

Since we had a survey into a problem with damp and mould we have not had any updates. We sent a request for further information after a two week period but have still had no response. This is a situation where our health is being compromised. The issue was supposed to have been given high priority. It is now three weeks since the survey was conducted.

Poor customer service I cancelled repairs due to person did not put all the issues down that wrong with the house house has not been maintained since 9 years no upgrades been done

Place for people are not interested in their tenants, once they get the rent , that’s all they are interested in. We constantly ring up with repair request that are ignored, fencing is rotting never been touched since houses built , area is becoming dumping site ,despite many complaints. Landscaping is now just grass cutting , leaving grass cutting everywhere kerbs covered in weed and grass. Drains covered in grass , no visit or contact from area managers. I spent lots money improving my house , that’s work places for people should be doing. . The area is now fill up with druggies and woman selling sex in houses let by places for people.

I don’t when you are talking about but I am talking about when the Housing Officer came to see me about my dog’s barking! He push his way in to my house even after I told him 3 times I didn’t want him there! He came in the house after being told I didn’t want him, I was in my nightclothes and I had a chest infection.Then he went on spouting rubbish about dogs! I told him that I needed to move as I feel intimidated and watched all the time and he some remake about nutters! Then he said that he was going on Holiday and would come and see me as soon as he was back, he also asked me to get a Doctors letter which I still have! There is lots and lots more things I could say about flat! Like both the kitchen and bathroom need replacing as they are All full

The latest repair of fitting a cupboard door in the hallway, after a long wait for the appointment & emails to Customer Service Manager, was not fitted to an acceptable standard... in fact... wouldn't close. I complained & now have an appointment for January 2025 for it to be remeasured. I have given a 4 star as I can see Places for People are putting a lot of work in to improve their standards of repair work & the extra star I have given is because of Leann Hibbert , Customer Service Manager, who has been extremely helpful & professional especially with the kitchen refit previous.

This is the 3rd time I have had my biler stop working in the last year and a half. The boiler is over 25 years old and instead of replacing it for a new working boiler they keep patching it. Just spent over an HR on the phone trying to get them to at least fix it. I told the first of many people I spoke to I work full time and I can't be there in the morning as I'll be at work and I can't get the time of. So she booked the appointment at 8am. I then spent an hr on the phone talking to many people about getting the time changed so I was available but all they said is I have to be available for 24hrs... so 24hrs goes up until 5pm when I would be available but they can't change the appointment time. Absolutely poor customer care. So I would have to loose a days pay because they cant arrange a proper appointment. I'm sure if I didn't pay the rent they wouldn't be this slow to help them self. So now I can't get the boiler fixes for another 4 days due to not having time of until Saturday. 4 DAYS WITH NO HOT WATER. how is this possible in modern days. This is not the first time I have had to deal with poor repairs. When I first moved in, it took 4 months to get any heating.. This is fixed now, only thanks to Ryan the election who went out of his way to come back and fix the problem. Without this guy I'd be without hot water all week

3 jobs completed in matter of few days.we are late 70s and vulnerable.my wife called and explained situation.1 Damp appeared on main Bedroom ceiling,2 radiator valve in small.bedroom needed sorting.3 Kitchen fluorescent light not working.Within matter of few days All.these Jobs were rectified.Thanks to repair office. And their tradesmen carrying out work.plus cleaning up after them. Couldn't have asked for a truly better Service.Ty for the work carried out by not just the men but for the Service received. Getting through on the phone is terrible.When I rang I got 1 minute waiting time so I did.Hanging on 10 minutes then recording came on 4 minutes waiting time.Horrible loud music for another 5 minutes then it said 6 minutes.Needless to say I put the phone down..It used to say :Press no 1 for a call back.Not anymore !!!!!

The Area Manager For My Accommodation, He Is Friendly, Approachable And He Listens To My Concerns And He Acts On Them The Accommodation Is Well Maintained By Places For People.
