Places for People operatives are always so polite and respectful, they carry out whatever task they are here to do quickly and efficiently with minimal disruption.
Lovely people all the way through the chain. Made us feel like real people not numbers. Good selectrion process for shared ownership properties, and high quality homes on offer.
When I first notified you of our damp problem, you must be congratulated at your speedy response you took, in attempting to rectify this. However, the remedy provided by 'Envirovent' proved mostly inadequate. The system only worked if the bathroom door,( where the 'continuous' fan operated), was left open at night, and the door to the bedroom was also left open.? Thus keeping a constant movement of fresh air into the sleeping area. This was proven on our vacating the property, by the amount of time, and further work needed throughout the flat, to bring it up to a habitable standard. Hence only 3 Stars.
Any problems i have had Places for people have sorted swiftly.
Communication between Places for people and other contractor is very slowly.Time for updating repair progress is unsatisfactory.
Not particularly happy with feedback about a matter of concern regarding behaviour
Could ask for better the help they have given me after having a hard time
PFP have been very good, made the whole process very easy and regularly update me, chase repairs and keep in contact to ensure I am settling in well, I have requested various permissions through them since I have moved in and they are always very quick to respond and help out, would recommend them!
Take to long to carry out repairs phone lines always take to long to get through always long queues. Do not keep front of the building in good repair and clean. Grass cutting carried out is a joke looks a right state after gardeners have been. Very bushy and high shrubs planted alongside path way which restricts the pathway no body checks them.
Staff are always there to help with all questions.
Becci has been brilliant at sorting any problems we have had with our new home. I cannot thank her enough for all her hard work.
Good service but were very slow on our fence repair also we feel forgotten with our neighbours on the state of our windows doors and exterior decorating Cost of rental is fair and the new online service provided is also good
Brilliant from start to finish when buying our home. And aftercare very good.
I had an excellent experience buying my shared ownership with Places for People. I love my house and I also found the staff very helpful, especially Donna and Dee. I highly recommend.
Good service but waiting to hear outcome of surveyours visit last week reg insulation main bedroom & living room,he is submitting recomendations.
Services cut Rents up this is not fair to our cliental
Short staffed so repairs take up to 3 months and over. You complain and they take notes then that's the last you hear. Some flats standing empty for weeks and nothing is done. I find this last year it's gone rapidly downhill. The company doesn't seem interested in what the tenants want or have to say and yet they put the rents up each year. It was never like this. There's no pride in the place anymore. It's as if the company just doesn't care as long as the rents are paid. Complete shambles and a total disappointment.
Service ,care and aftercare has been outstanding from start to finish . Super friendly and approachable staff, communication all the way . Finish on the property is outstanding and they really do think of everything to help you settle . Emma and Arran have been super helpful . Thanks again
Very reluctant to do repairs , waited about 5yrs to get a bit of fencing repaired, will probably have to wait longer to have a deterioting concrete patio repaired, All you get is , it's on the fencing programme, or it's on the concrete programme, but they don't tell you how long their programme is !

Oct 24,2024This review is regarding one of the companies that is part of the Places for People group, RMG. RMG have no interest in providing a professional service to their clients. They are paid a management fee, but in my experience in dealing with them since July 2023, they do very little. The Property Manager, seems to either ignore emails/requests or only acts on such requests after constant hounding from me. It's not only rude it is unprofessional to constantly ignore requests/address issues. This is no way to treat clients, whom without, RMG would not have a business. The call handlers that take the calls are always friendly and helpful, and unfortunately they are the ones that have to deal with unhappy clients. Do Places for People also they think it is acceptable to allow this unprofessional behaviour and service to continue?
