May 08,2024PM247 was a lifesaver when the water supply pipe from the meter to the stop cock suddenly stopped working. Surprisingly, it appeared to be the original piping from the 1860s Terrace Cottage! With little warning, a water engineer promptly visited the property, diagnosed the problem, and turned off the water supply. He coordinated with his office to send a specialist back after the weekend. It ended up being a more complicated task than anticipated. I received regular updates on the estimated cost and the progress of the job. Overall, it was a very satisfactory resolution.

May 06,2024What a bunch of cowboys! Called to explain a blocked pipe in my dishwasher. Charged me 144 with an assurance that they would pretty much certainly cover clearing the blockage. Man came, looked at the washing machine, said pipe was blocked and that he had to call the office. Off he went, office called, said pipe clearance needed a wet vac at an additional cost of 395! So nearly 550 to unblock a pipe! When I declined, the man came back and offered to do it for less, for cash! If you’re dumb enough to use these jokers, make sure to clarify the terms and small print, they’re very adept at manipulating what they say
