Jul 09,2024I recently had a terrible experience with The Tile Shop and feel compelled to warn others. I ordered tiles worth £159 but changed my mind about the color. Initially, I paid £36 for delivery, which seemed reasonable. However, when I tried to return the tiles, I was shocked to find out I had to pay an additional £78 for the return shipping. This is absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable! The total cost just to return the tiles is more than half the value of the order itself. It feels like an outright rip-off. Their return policy is a nightmare, and their charges are exorbitant. I strongly advise against ordering from The Tile Shop. Save yourself the headache and find a more customer-friendly company to do business with.

Jul 03,2024Just a fantastic company. Incredibly reliable, prompt and always generously helpful customer service, and their tiles are beautiful, unique, and of luxurious quality. I've ordered tiles from them for several different projects now and they remain my first port of call. I'd also like to give a special thanks to Liz, Lesley, Emily, and everyone on the team who so patiently managed a flurry of last-minute adjustments I needed to make to my most recent order. The team did everything possible to accommodate my needs and the unexpected changes to my bathroom project. Everything was resolved quickly and efficiently, and I'm now delighted with my beautifully tiled new bathroom. The 4 free tile samples they offer have also proven invaluable in my design planning! Will keep coming back to this company and would recommend them without reservation.

Jul 01,2024The tile we ordered does not look the same as the way it was portrayed on the website. In this instance we couldn't get a sample in time as the tile we originally wanted from the store was unavailable, which we found out almost 4 days after placing the order (which was the original delivery date), as such we were at a risk of incurring abortive fees from our tiler. From speaking with Lesley this morning in the "Customer Service" team she was very rude and not helpful in the slightest. I explained that the tile did not look the same as the website and she reiterated I should have ordered a sample, which is not helpful at all - not to mentioned that I have spent well over £1,000 and ordered more tiles over the weekend as the order we received was so poor. Having looked into the returns policy, we have to pay £60+ to return these poor quality tiles, which was quite a shock. To sum this up for a company that states they "provide unbelievable customer service", its difficult to believe when the response we received from Lesley was so far from this statement. Just to note I wasn’t expecting a free return as I acknowledge it was my fault for not ordering a sample, but a little discount would have been appreciated considering we were in this mess due to poor communication from Porcelain Superstore in the first place - very disappointed.

Jun 21,2024Great quality tiles, very good communication and when I had to re-order (as I was slightly short of tiles) they were very helpful to make sure it was the same batch. Some tiles arrived broken and once I let them know they were quick to reply ready to replace them, but I thought I might not need them all, so I asked them if they could wait to see if that was the case and if so, could they refund? Which is what happened at the end. Very happy!!

Jun 20,2024Ordered few boxes of tiles. They charged £36 for delivery and left in the kerbside on pallet. It is hard to carry back inside. Don’t expect this type of service but their customer service reminds me the way of delivery is clearly stated. The tiles ended up with much color variation. Customer services again said it is clearly stated. However, the color variation is much bigger than shown in the picture and doesn’t look good. Seems we need to check every single tile before we hand them to the tiler. This is not realistic! Overall, it was a very unpleasant experience.

Jun 18,2024We were looking for specific tiles and could not find the style or colour that we wanted until I came across Porcelain Superstore. We ordered samples which were delivered super fast and were exactly what we were looking for! We went ahead and ordered the tiles which were delivered ahead of schedule. Unfortunately, a number of tiles were damaged in transit but on contacting customer service, Emily promptly replied and helped with our query. Really great service! We cannot wait to finish our project now and are thankful for finding Porcelain Superstore.

Jun 14,2024After being recommended, I visited their website and placed an order for some floor tiles. Delivery was available in 3 days and they duly turned up in perfect condition. When placing the order I made a mistake with the delivery. I phoned them and was helped and had my mistake corrected with zero fuss(shout out to Lesley). Tiles are also great so I'm a very happy customer

Jun 06,2024Ordered tiles to be delivered on a specific day (£36 for delivery of 3 boxes of tiles!). Got notification that delivery is scheduled for the day between 8:00 and 18:00 so took a day off so I won’t miss it. Waited all day and tiles didn’t arrive. Email said I would he notified of any change - well, I wasn’t! Came to 18:00 and still no delivery or contact from them. Contacted them to be told they were scheduled to be delivered on the day - obviously, with no one in I had to cancel my order. Wouldn’t want to risk the loss of another day’s wages. Customer service wasn’t the nicest either. Now I’m going to wait forever for my refund as they need to receive tiles back from their hub ?? Surely if they are in the hub the refund should have been processed straight away! Oh, and you pay £36 for the delivery to the nearest kerbside so if you’re disabled or a female, prepare to carry heavy boxes to your home! They don’t tell you this until the day before your delivery is scheduled. This company has a lot to improve.

Web site organised and easy to navigate. . A plentiful selection of tiles to choose from. . Price range diverse and not overly expensive. . Samples sent by post arrived quickly and the packing process was environmentally friendly - all cardboard material.

May 20,2024The company redeemed itself after a delivery with many broken tiles. A second delivery was reported as damaged by the carrier so a third was sent and received overnight thanks to Lesley. Clearly there are problems in the warehouse but the support staff are excellent. I have my tiles so I am well satisfied.

May 17,2024We were looking for some special tiles which were proving impossible to find in the UK, and went through Porcelain Superstore to get these from a third supplier on special order. Porcelain Superstore have been great and very fast in getting us a quote for these and putting in the order for us. We've been talking mostly to Liz about this and her responsiveness has been excellent. Good customer service, a smooth journey from request to delivery, and a fairly reasonable price. Thank you!

May 16,2024Quite bad customer service - they deliver even smaller items in the big pallets, but when you ask drivers to take pallets back with them (as this is construction trash and can't be disposed as the residential waste and therefore you would have to call someone to take it away for £££) - driver doesn't want to do it.

The look both elegant and unique in our kitchen and receive compliments from everyone who sees them. We are so happy with the company that we are now sourcing floor and wall tiles for our ensuite.

Jul 12,2024Extremely poor service. No sign of delivery. Paid £800 for tiles to be delivered today but been waiting since 8am. Nothing has turned up. No call from the courier, tried calling the company and no answer. Truly terrible. These three charlatan brothers who allegedly run the company need to pull their fingers out because they don't know the meaning of customer service... Their website is a lie stating 50,000 positive reviews??? Where are these 50,000 reviews???
