Feb 04,2025I contracted with this organization to help research the history of my 100 year old home. Their initial report did not come up with anything that was not immediately available via public records. When I asked about it, I received no response for 10 days, and then the paragraph below, which is very different from what their website claims. I do not believe this service provides anything that is not already available free of charge from your jurisdiction. Two stars for consolidating it into one report, but zero stars for what I feel is false advertising and then claiming after the fact that they can't help me. I was not offered any kind of refund. From PropertyRecs: "Our data is focused primarily on records from the modern era. Historical information usually has not been digitized and you will need to visit the county clerk or register of deeds in your area and browse their archives for the data." UPDATE Feb 2025: The company reached out to me to offer a refund. Adding back one star for this effort.
