Customer service reps were all helpful, fast and effective. Any problems got sorted for us really quick. Happy with how they dealt with us
I paid for air delivery, which was supposed to arrive within 2 weeks, but I did not receive my belongings until 4 weeks later. During this period, the staff ignored my daily inquiries about the status of my boxes. When my belongings finally arrived, they were broken, including a smashed Smeg microwave. Despite paying for insurance and claiming £400, which reflects the market price of the item, PSS Removals only offered me £30 in compensation. This is utterly unacceptable. I have sent several emails to Jess Bullard, the Claims Adjuster, requesting a reconsideration of the amount or, at the very least, the terms and conditions of the insurance, which I was not provided with at the time of purchase. Unfortunately, my emails have been ignored. I do not recommend PSS Removals due to their poor service and lack of accountability. I will be leaving multiple reviews to warn others about this experience.
I paid a lot to send some key items from London to Australia by air as we needed them urgently for the kids - beds/chairs etc. We were told it would take 7-10 days but after we paid the communication became non existent. The day before the packages were collected I had to call 4 times to find out if they were coming to get the packages or not. After they were collected I heard nothing, so called after 10 days and it turns out the packages are still in the warehouse and haven’t been shipped because it took them this long to weigh the items and request slightly more money from me. So it will now be almost a month for them to deliver the goods despite promising to get them to me within 7-10days. I would definitely not trust PSS again in the future.
TLDR: - overpriced - insurance is a scam (you will be made to jump through a lot of hoops to claim, like getting a quote to repair a damaged item and will have to pay £100 for each claim) - customer service evaporated once our belongings had been handed over to their sub-contracted removal company - Removal staff did not take the necessary steps to ensure the right packaging, labels secured and labelled sufficiently - systems in place to ensure a successfully delivery are for the removal/insurance companies not you and will be used against you - lack of accountability when something went wrong on their side, I am now out of pocket due to their incompetency. Let me start off by saying that I have used PSS twice in the past for internationals moves and based on my previous experiences with them couldn't recommend them more and I have recommended them to friends and family who have moved internationally. This time however it has been a complete and utter fiasco. I will say their customer service was friendly and there appears to be some amount of intention to ensure we had a good experience when our home was packed by their staff on the UK side. I was not able to be at our home at the time of the packing buy my partner was and due to the volume of things that needed to be packed up I would never have expected her to keep track of everything. Everything seemed to be in order, we had airtags in our belongings so we could see their progress as they made their way to us. It appears all of the care and intention evaporated once it came to our delivery. Our things were delivered by a sub-contracted company in Europe. Our fridge arrived upside down due to lack of markings or indicators of the packaged content and wrapped in paper, needless to say that it went from having no damage to all of it's metal surfaces dented in some way. The deliverers were quick to blame PSS and I would agree with them, this scenario repeats itself with some of our other furniture. Due to the value of items we were relocating they recommended I take out insurance, which I did. Upon the completion of the delivery, the men from Gosselin were very keen to leave, It appeared everything was in order apart from what damage we had noticed and reported. I asked if we discovered any issues or missing items after the fact before signing the delivery form they it would be covered, he said it would be as long as we reported it immediately. I took him at is word and signed. The next day we discovered a kitchen appliance worth £500 was missing (along with a priceless piece of work that was culminated over years of experimentation and refinement), it was sent in it's original boxing and had a tracking sticker attached to it. I reported the missing box immediately to PSS, checked and quadruple checked all boxes we received, I discovered that the kitchen appliances' tracking sticker was attached to another PSS carton box with it's own tracking sticker, either by malicious intentions or by friction during transit. What ensued was two months of back and forth correspondence, they implied that it had to be with us as the "bingo sheet" accounted for everything. Let me tell you a "bingo sheet" that relied on a human counting and manually crossing off check boxes with a pen as delivered is utterly infallible. They have assured us that they have done everything and checked all possible locations that it may be and have informed us since the bingo sheet shows that it was delivered that insurance will not compensate us for the loss. My advice for anyone looking to use their services, simply.. don't. I found the service this time exceptionally overpriced for the service we ultimately received. It caused a lot of unnecessary stress, they damaged our belongings and lost an expensive appliance.
The packers were such a fast and friendly team. They were really organised and just got things done.
Professional and very helpful staff who were unfazed by my last minute schedule and handled my shipment smoothly and efficiently.
For someone who has never before shipped personal belongings abroad with all of the documentation required, I've found them both easily contactable and helpful, but above all patient!
Very prompt, reliable and polite
My shipment originally consisted of 3 boxes which contained items left to me by my late father which were sentimental value. The boxes were collected by the most unhelpful courier in mid November 2023 who refused to enter the property to collect the boxes forcing me to drag them to the front door. I was told in mid December that all 3 boxes had been loaded on to the ship and were on the way to me in NZ. This was untrue in fact only one box made it on to the ship and the other 2 were lost and were not found until February 2024. I was not informed of this and only found out by accident and then was told one of the boxes had been damaged and was repacked by a PSS staff member (who is no longer working for the company !!!). My first box arrived in NZ in early April taking just over 4 months. My other boxes arrived in NZ nearly 6 months after they were collected from me in the UK. When I unpacked the box that had been repacked there was a couple of items missing, one item in particular has sentimental value that had been specially made for my late father, this item can not be replaced. Also several items arrived damaged due to lack of care taken by the employee that had repacked the box. I have had lots of dialogue with customer service but all I have received is endless excuses, for example the shipment was split due to a scanning issue, they are sorry that I was not informed of the issue even though they knew in mid February, they are sorry items were missing, sorry that items had been damaged. I was asked if I wanted to make an insurance claim because if I did I would have to pay £50 for the privilege, after I complained about this PSS offered to pay this charge. At no stage have I been offered any compensation in relation to the very poor service I received. PSS advertise and also told me that shipping would take about 12 weeks, 6 months is totally unacceptable. I certainly did not receive the same level of service that other customers have received according to their many positive reviews available to read on their website.

Crew was on time, worked hard and basically without break, packed things thoroughly and even reinforced boxes i packed (when needed). They were very polite and charming. Awesome work all around, including all the contact with the office and Peter who did the preliminary check.

But their best asset is their staff! I have mainly worked with Hamish and Austin and they have been kind, professional, exceptionally quick and supportive! I recommend PSS to anybody.
