We moved from the UK to the US in November 2023, and PSS Removals used packers who crushed our things as they packed them- metal light fixtures were bent, they folded a foam standing mat and broke it to pack it, they dragged a workout machine and scraped the leather and wood all up, packed the dishes so they were all together and half the set broke. It was so upsetting to unpack. And then the insurance which they force you to buy quotes you prices for buying used items on ebay and won't include shipping costs, so you can get 4 replacement plates for $30 with $30 shipping (cost new is $150), and so they give you $30. And the shipment was delayed 3 or 4 times as they couldn't get a ship, so I had to pay an extra $1000 for 'increased shipping costs'. I fought this charge with the UK Ombudsman and lost as 'they are not in control of shipping costs' though they are in charge of relationships with shippers to get their cargo actually shipped on time.
Very clear process from start to finish and quick answers to all my questions. delivery of packaging and collection of shipping all bang on time. Great value for money.
Very helpful from start to finish, had plenty of people help at times when others were busy, had some typical situations that arose but promptly dealt with.
The team turned up at the time they said they would; the 3 men were courteous and hard working; they did a really impressive job carefully wrapping furniture for international transit; the job was completed remarkably quickly & cheerfully Highly recommend
We booked 620 cubic feet and including packing and unpacking with PSS was just under 4K. We ended up with 570 cubic feet and they refunded us the difference. We obviously shopped around and did get a couple of slightly cheaper prices, but PSS were amazing, so we went with them, purely on their service and a trust basis. Our assigned Move Manager (Helen) is incredible! We couldn’t have done all of this without her! Their customer service is incredible! Honestly can’t recommend them high enough! Delivery was delayed a month after it arrived in country. There was a lot of communication about when the delivery would be in country, but once it was in country another month of delay was introduced (additional 50% delay) Be careful of timelines provided regarding the shipping, they should include the complete delivery timeline.

Apr 12,2024Blunt lie saying the reason of delay of refund - which I haven’t received yet - was me refusing. I have emails proving they claimed the refund would be issued only after the shipment is loaded. Also you stated that only deposit was taken from the credit card while the rest was bank transfer As such , you are lying saying this is the normal. The same way the rest of deposit had to be done through bank transfer to yours, your refund should be done by bank transfer. There is nowhere in your policy that says the refunds would be done by credit card. Again, PSS is a broken company that uses its clients to stay alive by providing them working capital.
