really regret selling my property through these agents. I request a call back every day, but it never happens. Poor customer service—stay away from them
Abysmal service. We stuck to the terms and conditions, pulled out well within the cooling off period and still no refund despite over a month of fighting. Our local rep no longer replies and customer services fob you off, promising replies and calls that never materialise. No doubt we’ll get some generic reply to this review telling us how sorry they are and to reach out for help, but that is purely an optic so that readers think they care. Customer services do not help customers. I dread to think how bad they are if you actually proceed. Avoid
Caroline, is a very warm and smart lady and she is so experienced in her job. I feel so lucky that by chance my house in her hands for selling that I trust her very much to get advice. She explains well what the viewers needs to know about our house also makes the comfortable and happy atmosphere for them plus seller too. Would not recommend. We are currently in the process of selling our house with Purplebricks and to say we would not recommend would be an understatement. The initial selling process we had no issues with however post sale has been unnecessarily stressful. Once we sold our home, Purplebricks failed to tell people who had put bids in that it was sold. Meaning that people were messaging us and left hanging. Completely unprofessional and unfair and we were left to deal with this with no help from them. Once we sold our home purple bricks completely failed to push our seller, or, contact them to enable to process to proceed quickly and smoothly. This ultimately led us to having to change buyers quite far down in the process. We never speak to the same person, whenever we ring we speak to someone new who has no idea what is going on with our sale. The estate agent from the home we are buying from has contacted them several times for us to ask about the sale. At one point she was told “they didn’t know what was going on” by one of the agents. We get mixed messages every time we ring, to quote “well I don’t know whose told you that but it’s not right” The whole process has been slow and at times we’ve felt like the slow, unprofessional process has left our own purchase on our new home hanging in the balance. To say this has been stressful has been an understatement. When we changed buyer purple bricks put our home back on the market, despite us having a new buyer. People were booking to come and view our home when it wasn’t for sale. Again, we had to sort all of this ourselves. Terrible communication, unprofessional and a very slow and painful process. If we weren’t so far into the process I’d be changing estate agents as the whole experience had been beyond stressful in every single way and we are still struggling to process our sale. I had a call to say the MOS was done and I should receive an email shortly for it then to be never sent. When I rang up they then said this wasn’t the case. My case is currently with compliance which it has been for at least a week. Despite ringing multiple times a day it doesn’t seem to be getting anywhere.
Sarah Patten conducted the viewings in a professional manner, was punctual for viewings, responded to emails promptly and was a pleasure to deal with.

So far so good, the house in on the market with help from Heather Hall, seamless and easy.
I'm a buyer...ie.I chose a house which is being sold by a vendor via PB. PB is THEIR agent, instructed by them and, you would think, charges the vendor for its services. Yet, I've just had a call for anti-money laundering checks and a demand for £80 for the privilege! I've politely declined their request to pay for the checks which THEY must carry out. If it means we lose the house, so be it - appalling practice. Now reading reviews, I see the whole industry think as poorly of them. Edit: they have requested more information to look into things. I've provided this and will update here. I just had a 3rd call asking for a fee for AML checks for info.

Knowledge and succinct. Was able to answer questions on the change in the local market which was very helpful. Also not too pushy but explained well the pros of Purple Bricks.
The viewing agent Silvena Kotcheva was very helpful and informed on details regarding the property. The negotiations team have been a little slow with their processes taking time to complete.

Absolutely disgraceful the way I was treated. I had a valuation booked which I took time off work for. Exactly at the time of the valuation I received an email “ Your valuation has been cancelled by Anika Vaghela. 17th February 2025 @ 02.00pm Why was your valuation cancelled? I haven't heard back from the landlord despite calls and messages - if you wish to rebook please do so and I can arrange the valuation.” I received NO phone call, no messages only this email. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE. Unprofessional to say the least.
