Claudia, thanks for sharing my excitement about getting an offer accepted on a dream property. I submitted proof of funds within 48 hours. Over a week later, and an hour on hold, I was trying to figure out why feet were being dragged. It turns out that nobody thought to look at these, so the property was still on the market. Oliver, you sent me an email as you left the office telling me that I’ve been gazumped and did not extend the courtesy of a phone call when I explicitly asked. Andrew, you are lucky I missed your first call about my updated offer. It seemed like from your email you didn’t realise who you were calling. I rang back promptly but you didn’t find time to speak with me when your colleague tried to pass me over. In fact, I was told later that you decided to leave the office early. To whoever can take accountability, you must improve your service to buyers. Actually, even the seller had grievances to share about the service they received so perhaps consider improving your service to sellers too. It’s an extremely important core aspect of your business and you are failing. The only thing that warrants a single star is the communication I had directly from the seller. I have no grievances with them accepting a higher offer. I can only hope that they (and their new buyer) detach from Purplebricks as soon as possible.
Its is the first time I have been using Purplebricks UK and I can highly recommend it. I nearly engaged Purple bricks but received deluge of emails from various names / departments which definitely put me off. Gave 4 star for the service i received from Will before the emails!
Massive waste of time and money, no incentive for them to sale as you pay upfront so once they suck you in they don’t care if the property sales or not as they gain no extra from the sale and just the fee you paid upfront and there staff are not local and have no clue on the area where your property is ???? Avoid avoid avoid and save your money as to me purple bricks is just a scam and a massive con and they should be shut down Added 25th feb 2025 Following my complaint I received a report saying there not upholding my complaint and not refunding any of the £2000.00 paid and tried to push all the blame on to us and the grammar and spelling was terrible in the report and they couldn’t even spell the name of there own sales agent correctly so how they think they could sale my property is beyond me. Do not at all costs use this company if you can call them that and use a proper estate agent in your area and although this can be more expensive than this company you will get a more professional service and more chance of a sale. Save time and your money and use a proper estate agent.

Only gave this awful company one * to be able to leave a review. Please do not use them to sell your property , they are only out for your money and do nothing to sell your house. My ex decided to use them and as I was classed as second seller to him, I had very little communication from them despite numerous phone calls to them I hardly got a response. Shocking customer service, I was ignored by them and had to rely on my ex to give me updates, even though I asked them to keep me updated. Please avoid at all costs if you want to keep your sanity, as I lost mine several times trying to get an agent to speak to me which was like pulling teeth I received a call from Purple Bricks regarding my review but due to being at work missed the call. I responded back when able to but still haven't received a response. What a surprise, they only want good reviews. Formal complaint coming up
Friendly helpful efficient service with fair price.
It was very easy setting up a valuation visit through Purple Bricks website and when the agent came to my house, they were very professional and not pushy.
Matt was very helpful and friendly, answered all the questions asked and explained the whole process extremely well to make it clear and easy to understand.
Sarah Turk helped to guide me through the process of purchasing my first home. She was polite and well prepared at the viewing, having clearly spoken at length with the vendor. She helped to answer questions I had about the property and sale process, and was able to liase with the vendor for details quickly.
Disgusting, egregious company. Their app doesn't work and they will bully you into paying literal THOUSANDS for services they did not even provide!! AVOID AVOID AVOID at all costs.
No communication, don’t respond to emails or phone calls
Didn't provide positive info relating to extra exposure to potential buyers. Our property is already on Rightmove & Zoopla, have a quality video & photos plus descriptions.
It is impossible to contact this firm if you have a query. They give you the run around, cut you off and transfer you to numbers which after 7 minutes advise you that the voicemail to this extension has been deactivated.
