We had problems with our battery and inverter during October. We found Jair in Tech Support very helpful. He worked extremely hard on our behalf to resolve our difficulties. He explained what was required in order to restore our system. He guided us patiently through every step. He kept us updated at every stage . He went above and beyond to bring a resolution to the issues which were ongoing for a number of weeks. We consider Jair to be an invaluable asset to the company. If asked would I recommend PVG - the answer would be no. Below is a summary of the positives and negatives to help you understand why. The Positives - The installation was very quick Placing the panels on the roof took just 2 hours with minimal disruption. I was very impressed. The electrical took longer, but that's not to say it was slow. They had everything installed by 3:30pm of the same day which was far ahead of my expectations. They didn't even need to cut power to do it. - The Installion was clean I expected dints, dings, scratches. I've seen no real evidence of any of that. The team were in and out with, thankfully, no real evidence they were there left behind. The setup in the attic is very professional. I cannot fault any of it. - The panels are making an impact already My bills have been cut in half already. The battery is a big help. My only regret is not going for a 10kw battery as it would likely cover my needs entirely. - They wanted the business I contacted eight parties when I sought the panels. Only two responded and only PVG showed to make the sale. - Jair, in support, is a star A very nice person to deal with. Very responsive, helpful, and doesn't make you feel like you are an inconvenience to him when you make contact. He is the best support technician I've ever had the pleasure of working with. The Negatives - They lied about the lead time I was told my install would have a lead time of ten weeks. They wrote it down. I paid the deposit within 24 hours, and then nothing. No word. After a lot of chasing over weeks, I was told my install would take 18-20 weeks. When I challenged this, I was told I was wrong about the ten weeks. After a bit of back and forth, I eventually got talking to their operations manager who apologised for the communications issues and managed to push the install date to 16 weeks. They honoured this date. - They didn't take feedback on board I was promised that action would be taken to address their terrible internal communications. I was also told I would be contacted about my install two weeks in advance. I'll let you guess how that went. - They said my invoice was overdue, even though it wasn't I received the invoice two days after the install was completed. Even though it was the first I saw it, it was flagged in red as being seventy days overdue. I take great pride in paying my debts in a timely fashion. I never let a bill lapse, so this was insulting to me. I paid it promptly, and it wasn't overdue. - The drawings were meaningless A few weeks before the install, they sent me a drawing to confirm I was happy with the proposed location of the panels. I was. The install however doesn't reflect the drawing. The drawing showed the panels to be close to the apex of the roof. The reality has them much closer to the bottom. There may be a good reason for this, but none was shared. - The conduit used doesn't reflect the buildings architecture While minor, my building is red brick with black conduits. The electrical cable had to run outside, due to the absence of an internal conduit. Even though the site was surveyed and it was known an external conduit was needed, they used a white conduit. While the engineer did an excellent job placing it, it does look quite jarring when compared to the other conduits and neighbouring houses. The engineer said black conduit is harder to get. The survey was done earlier on. I would have hoped they'd have accounted for this. I recommend you bear this in mind for your install. Summary While I am happy with the install and the operation of the equipment, it was the admin and communications in general that really let them down. I paid a lot of money for this, and I paid it promptly. I felt that once they had me, they knew they didn't need to respect me. It's not a good way to run a business and I've too much on my plate to be chasing down people who I've paid to do a job. The damage to my faith in them was significant enough early on to leave a lasting, bitter taste in my mouth. Am I being unfair? I'll let you decide.
I had an issue with the app since I changed my router. PVGEN we’re on it immediately. Jair helped me through the process with patience, politeness and clarity. Alls well again. Thank you Jair. 😀
We noticed that the inverter was not working and it was showing a utility loss error. I spoke to Jair in Tech support who guided me through various fixes. I'm delighted to say the problem was solved swiftly with Jair's help. His time, patience and knowledge was second to none. A credit to PV Generation.

PV Generation were a fantastic company to deal with. The team that fitted the panels to our roof optimized the orientation of the panels so they would look more aesthetically pleasing.. I was so impressed with this as they just didn't follow the original design, they problem solved to make it better when onsite. The electricians who completed the setup again took pride in their work and wanted to ensure a tidy finish regarding wiring etc. I would highly recommend PV Generation as a company.
Had problems with App and the inverter being disconnected due to change in WIFI in house. Was at a loss as how to resolve issue! Rang PVGen Hey presto Jair to the rescue!! He had his work cut out for him as I crawled through the attic, but we got there. Thanks a million!!

Great company. The whole process was explained by a lovely lady at their display at the Ideal Homes exhibition. Soon after this we had a visit from Joe Long, from sales, who gave us an accurate, itemised quote for a few different PV options for our home. A site survey was arranged soon after this. There was never any pressure to commit or sign up at all. The survey was done & left entirely up to us if we wanted to proceed or not. We were kept informed about when we could expect the installation. The installation was very efficient & stress-free. The teams of roofers & electricians couldn’t have been nicer or more professional. We had a few follow-up questions after the install, and Joe was great, emailing back straight away! Cannot recommend the company or the product highly enough!
Today I needed technical assistance in getting my FusionSolar App working online again. Jair from the PV Generation Technical Department went above and beyond in terms of bringing me through the steps required to bring the system back into operation. An excellent service.

After service is appalling. The PV installed system has not worked for some time and I have been trying to arrange a service visit for a few weeks to no avail. Each person I speak to says they will send an email to the appropriate person however no one seems capable of scheduling a service call. This is no way to run a business regards Dave
On Jul. 11th PV Gen installed a 10 panel system on my roof . Job done quickly, efficiently, & neatly . App installed on my wife's smart phone. A couple of weeks later I noticed that no data was visible. Spent hrs. on the phone with Jair trying to rectify it. Eventually we got it sorted. Jair's patience, understanding & commitment went beyond the call of duty. Surely an asset to any company!!
Very poor after sales . I got PV Gen solar panels installed 9 months ago and several times the system stops heating up even a cup full of hot water in a day . The first time it stopped I got onto the after sales team and a nice girl called Aishling talked me through how to navigate the Eddi to see if other devices are linked in . There was , the Eddi was picking up my neighbour’s system as he has a solar panel system too - deleted his off and the hot water is back daily . However this has since picked up another neighbours , so I deleted that too but no hot water in weeks now . I made a call to the after sales team yesterday morning to be told someone would call me back , 4 hours later I rang back and was on for 30 mins to someone who obviously was new and reading from a screen as he just kept saying “ let me look up what that is “ . I then rang back and asked for an experienced after sales person which I was promised would ring me back before the end of the day . No call back yesterday or today . I would think long and hard about staying clear of PV Generation
Just over three weeks ago, I had PV Generation install 16 X 415W Panels and a 5 KW Battery, Inverter, etc. The roofers were excellent as were the electricians, There was no disturbance and they took away all of the packaging. Everything was installed to highest standard and very neatly. The team were a pleasure to have in your home and I would highly recommend them. Rob Walsh sold me the system and his customer care is second to none. We are generating twice the electricity we consume and feeding excess it back to the grid. I have been on to my supplier and hope to agree a tariff before the end of next month. Any excess I have exported is recorded and I will be paid for it. The feeling of generating your own power and doing our bit for the planet is great. I would highly recommend doing this with PV Generation. What a professional organization. Thank you
Before selecting an installer for my PV Solar Panels + Battery I performed extensive research online. This paid off as PV Generation Ltd. was excellent. The whole team from office admin, installers, and aftercare personnel was polite, tidy, knowledgeable, and professional. I highly recommend this company to anyone thinking of installing PV Solar panels.
I wrote a review here three weeks ago, saying how unhappy I was with the after-service from PV Gen as the eddi system makes thermostat overheat valve pop. My engineer, plumber and insulation guys all had the same problem funnily enough. Engineer says it’s the set up of the eddi. Doesn’t matter though - the point is that Pv Gen wrote responded on my trust pilot review, that this was less than expected of their expected standard and to email them. Which I duly did. A week later….still no reply. Honestly…that’s how bad the after-service is. They don’t even reply after reading and responding to a complaint on trustpilot. Shocking. Vote with your feet people.
