Aug 02,2021This is a wonderful cottage, homely and spotlessly clean. The farmers were very welcoming. We saw all the animals on the farm and enjoyed collecting the eggs from the chickens. The location is great for exploring this part of West Wales and there are lovely beaches nearby. There are also lots of good places to eat- though early booking is essential.

Aug 02,2021We arrived late at night and had some difficulty in finding the right cottage. If there was just a little more detail right at the end of the description it may have been easier. However, in stepping inside we were very delighted and excited about our new home. It’s in a great location as part of a ‘hamlet’ , enjoys great isolation and quiet whilst being within walking distance to the beach and town! Not only the cottage itself was a pleasure to stay in but the garden and its well thought out sheltered spots were a pleasure to use too. So thank you to the owners who have created such a place for us to stay! I ought to mention some minor niggles: a loose bath tap that needed some manipulation to allow water to flow; the “grill “ and left side oven not heating up properly; and the limited capacity of the fridge. Also, there was no spare bedding for the cooler nights! However, it really is a great cottage and I wouldn’t hesitate to bring my family there again. We ❤️ Wales! Peter Corcutt, Oxford.

Aug 02,2021Beautiful cottage in a remote location but only a short drive to the coast and all amenities. Garden was enclosed and safe. Cottage had everything that was needed and clean. Would definitely recommend. My only issue 1 week wasn’t long enough.

Aug 02,2021The chapel was in a good location with a good dog friendly beach nearby. Well equipped kitchen. Shower room completely inadequate and poorly designed. The head height is extremely low on one side; the sink is tiny, and it’s not possible to use it as it’s in the lowest part of the room. Shower pressure very low. Lots of other snags but the main problem is the shower room.

Aug 01,2021Beautiful, clean and well equipped cottage. Modern, with a lovely well maintained garden. It is clear to see a lot of hard work has gone into this cottage, very well presented. In a great location, we know the area well and this cottage is in an ideal spot, close to the beach (6 minute walk) and easy access to drive to other local areas.

Jul 28,2021Lovely holiday cottage in the most idyllic setting. Well equipped kitchen with access to a washing machine, tumble dryer & dishwasher. Dining area & comfortable living area that was perfect for our family of 5. The cottage had everything we needed but we spent all of our time in the garden - amazing. Two huge lawned areas; perfect for a game of cricket, sun loungers, hot tub, Weber BBQ, various seating areas..and the River Cleddau at the bottom of the garden! It was so beautiful. The children loved paddle boarding & swimming in the river. We didn’t leave the house on some days because we were so happy in the garden. Close to Narbeth for shops & amenities if needed. Would love to go back.

Jul 27,2021Fabulous week in a lovely cottage. Well-equipped, well- maintained, spacious and comfortable. Great outdoor areas for sitting, eating, drinking and enjoying the amazing view. Good location, 20 minute walk from the beautiful Marloes Sands and access to the cliff path from the garden, with more great walks each way. We were v lucky with the weather but it would be a great base even in the rain.

I tried calling twice and was on hold for over 20 minutes each time without speaking to anyone despite their recorded message saying that my call was very important to them. I also messaged them via their online form. No response. Disappointed

Jul 26,2021Good location. Mixed quality of the cottage. Nice kitchen which was well equipped. The whole house was in need of a good clean and the garden needed a mow. It was rather tired needed some attention.

Jul 26,2021Pleasant cottage for a couple ideally. The upstairs space is tight for adults. Well equipped kitchen, and view to the sea from the conservatory. That means you can witness some amazing sunsets. Lots of parking while we were there but there is work going on on a second cottage a few metres away. It didn't disturb our stay though. Rather a lot of Do's and more specifically Don'ts in the info pack. We weren't keen on having all the re cycling boxes in the living room, and it was a bit of a rush to be out by 9.30 to allow for the extra covid cleaning. On that topic we have seen cleaner cottages. They give you a max of 36 hours to complain about cleaning, but we didn't fancy having cleaners in again after we had moved in. It wasn't bad, just a lot of spider webs and dead insects around especially upstairs. Goes with a cottage in the country in summer I know. The wet room mop needed a clean too. On the plus side the main bedroom is a good size and the king size bed very comfortable. As a location it was very good. A very short drive to Porthgain and the coastal path and Sloop Inn. Within 10 miles of Newgale and Whitesands beaches, and an easy short drive into St Davids. Beautiful coastal scenery everywhere you go. Quality Cottages were pleasant to deal with on the one time I had to give them a ring before arriving. A lovely week in blazing hot Wales!

Jul 26,2021Booking online was not the simplest. Entered details and it then wouldn't allow me to progress. I tried to call. Held on for a long time. No reply. Eventually managed to enter details but needed to make an amendment to email address but couldn't once it was in. Went back and forth several times. Finally booked a holiday but it could/should have been easier.

Jul 20,2021A very pleasant cottage, clean, comfortably furnished to a high standard and well serviced. It is spacious and provided with everything needed for our stay. The garden is lovely and we used it daily, eating out and enjoying barbecues. It is ideally situated for Solva harbour and the cliff path. Our only criticism is that there are building works nearby which result in frequent loading and unloading of building materials by large and very noisy machines just outside the living room, which is inevitably intrusive. We would be happy to use it again, after the building work has been completed
