What a beautiful location and building! It has everything you need and has been done to the highest standard. Enjoying the hot tub whilst watching the mist roll in over the hills was absolutely magical and we would love to visit again. There is so much to do in the area you wont be board.

The bungalow is in a wonderful position with the most amazing views. The bungalow is so comfortable, warm and extremely clean. We had a wonderful week. Liz (the owner) was very welcoming and helpful. Hope to return next year.

Very easy to use website and booking was very simple. As this is the third time we have booked a holiday with Quality Cottages, we knew we could trust the site and look forward to our holiday with no worries. One thing I was disappointed was that I thought because I had booked within three weeks of our last booked holiday we were going to have the booking fee waived but it did not apply to a different cottage I presume as the code was not accepted. However, that was my error and we would recommend booking with Quality Cottages.

Little Coach House, Neuadd FarmCottages, Llwyndafydd,  New Quay, Ceredigion, SA44 6BT My husband & myself along with our dog Monty stayed in the Little Coach House for a week at the end of September 2021 in a beautiful one bedroomed cottage with a log burning fire, in even more beautiful surroundings. We found great walks in the grounds surrounded by animals such as alpacas, sheep, 2 donkeys, rabbits & chickens. As long as you keep your dog on the lead & pick up your poop you can have a great walk around the grounds. The young man, his wife & beautiful baby girl living in the main cottage & looking after the cottages & grounds were just lovely, if you needed anything all you needed to do was ask. Felt right at home there & it was lovely & peaceful. Situated very near New Quay (about 5 min drive) & inbetween Aberystwyth & Cardigan Bay so plenty to do along that stretch of coast with lots of amazing dog friendly beaches. Great stay & would highly recommend to anyone wanting to take their dog on holiday.

The Old Boathouse Trefin - 237716_26442 Our booking experience with Quality cottages was straightforward as always and they were helpful with answering questions ahead of our arrival. We also contacted the property manager in the week before we arrived with a couple of questions, one being about the security of the garden for dogs. It was advertised as fully enclosed however it is not, as dogs are able to escape through the hedge at the back and also wander round the side to the front of the property. The property manager said he would contact the owner about rectifying this ahead of our arrival but unfortunately we heard nothing more and no efforts were made to secure the garden so communication wasn’t great from that perspective. The house itself was spacious and well-equipped for what we needed. It was comfortable and had a very homely feel. Unfortunately we weren’t 100% satisfied with the cleanliness - the floors were still dirty with dust / hair / other debris in places, and the kitchen/utility room smelled like dog from the previous occupiers. The drains in the en-suite bathrooms were also a bit smelly which wasn’t pleasant if you were sleeping in those bedrooms. I felt this was worth highlighting as it may be that the owners are unaware of the quality of cleaning that’s being provided, we had relatives staying in a property across the road on the day we arrived and they informed us that the cleaners had not arrived by 11.20am when they went out, we arrived at the property at 1.15pm and the cleaners had “finished” and left at 1.30pm. We entered the house as soon as the cleaners left and it did not smell “clean”. Two hours or less to clean a house of this size especially during COVID times doesn’t seem sufficient. Overall we had a good stay and would stay again at The Old Boathouse however would just hope for more attention to cleaning next time.

Rose House Burton is the most beautiful house with stunning views. Superb accommodation inside and fabulous outside furniture which we really appreciated. Perfect having it's own little beach too. Can't recommend it enough.

Wonderful setting for this lovely home. Large rooms and lots of space for families very quite and relaxing and wow views to black rock sands everything you would want for a Welsh holiday. What impressed me the most was the set up for dogs and hassle free dog walks right outside the door. Lovely couple who own the house they made us feel very welcomed. I have just had a wonderful break in Lily Pond Cottage, Llwyndaffydd, near New Quay. It is one of a group of old, Welsh farm outbuildings, tastefully converted to traditional farm cottages which none-the-less have thoroughly a modern bathroom and kitchen area. It was beautifully equipped, had loads of storage space and was lovely and cosy from log fired underfloor heating. The only downside for me was that at the end of September there was very little sun in the private patio which overlooked a part of the beautiful grounds. There were alpacas, turkeys, doves and various unusual breeds of chickens. The area abounds with woodland walks, 1 on property, and there is the Ceredigion section of the West Wales Coasst Path 1 1/2 miles away, with quite a few small beaches and of course New Quay itself. No local shops except honesty box farm/ home produce tables and very sparse grocery outlets in New Quay, which did have an old fashioned butcher who also sold home made bread and cakes according to his sign. Sadly he is shut on Mondays when I was there. The sat nav took me there flawlessly. The last few miles are narrow (often single track) and winding but there are usually lots of passing places and everyone goes slowly so it was easy and pleasant driving. Recommend

What a fantastic week we had staying at the wonder Morfa Ganol farmhouse.  This isn't just your average holiday rental, this is a family's holiday home which they have chosen to share with others and it shows with the decor; things like hooks on the back of doors, bathroom cabinets that are actual cabinets and not just a mirror, leaving you to put your toiletries away.  The simple things that make a break so much more enjoyable.  The house, as others have said, is huge and it took a couple of days to get our bearings.  Our dog of course had it sussed within a couple of hours!  Plenty to keep everyone amused, lots of books to cover all interests and board games galore.   Kitchen appliances were spot on and cupboards filled with enough of everything you could possibly need.  We were very fortunate in having above average weather and so made much use of the benches outside to sit and enjoy the fabulous view, whilst downing a bottle of something chilled.  For those with energy to burn or a dog to walk then the coastal path which is practically on the doorstep is a perfect way to get the muscles aching.  Fabulous views and a reason to walk to the next village and stop off at a pub for a well earned drink. I would not hesitate to recommend staying at Morfa Ganol and would love to stay again.   Thank you to Oliver for all his communications.

Parc y Marriage was a perfect holiday base. The property is just as lovely as it appears on the website and was extremely cosy and comfortable with everything you could possibly need with the most beautiful views across to the coastal headland. The owner made us extremely welcome and went out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed. The “welcome”treats on arrival were a lovely surprise and a very thoughtful touch. We will definitely return as soon as we can. Thankyou!

The house was immaculately clean on arrival, due to Covid unfortunately the extra bits like cushions and bits & pieces that give a homely feel had to be removed. The house is roomey with a good size living room and kitchen a double and twin downstairs and a bathroom with bath and separate shower, unfortunately the beds downstairs are quite low meaning it's not really great for those with limited mobility like my elderly mother, getting in and out of bed and traversing the furniture to get to the bathroom, especially at night was difficult. The double rooms are quite large and would really benefit from having kingsize beds instead of standard double and the divan in the upstairs bedroom has no real support anymore and in desperate need of replacing just sitting on it made it creak horrendously and my husband and I ended up swapping with our son and taking the downstairs room because the upstairs bed is in such a poor state (he is lighter than us and single so the noise was reduced). The kitchen has a good array of pots & pans and plenty of storage, the cooker and oven are fairly new and easy to use. The handle for the grill is missing, the only serving spoon was slotted so only useful for dry food, there are no tongs and the knives were so blunt I had to buy a knife sharper which I left. The kitchen table is very wobbly and all the dining chairs are in a pretty poor state and look as if they have been repaired several times, one with blu tac. There is a utility room with a decent washing machine and separate tumble dryer which is really useful. The house is in a lovely position, there are neighbours but we did not hear them, they went to work in weekday mornings but never disturbed us. The views from the rear of the house overlook farmland which is lovely and peaceful. All in all it is a lovely house in a great location, and would be fantastic with a few minor improvements
