£2400 for what was £1700 on compare the market..... smoke and mirrors..... insurance was only 2100 the other £300 was set up fees and commission, then couldn't add any modifications, awful company, awful staff and blatantly just using co.parison sites for a foot in the door, 30 days for a refund..... BTW I got 8nsured for under £1000 by doing some work and not trust8ng comparison sites or BS brokers like this lot, avoid at all costs

On price comparison sites but change price. Quoted £1100 for insurance then after a day and an hour on the phone they raised the price to over £1700. Should be removed from price comparison. I had my suspicions when i read rest of the reviews. Dont bother if you found it on price comparison. They ask all the questions all over again. They just use comparison sites as a free advertisement and the use the fact that you invested your time, to sell higher priced product. Mike

Really shocking, I answered every question perfect on the Policy and got given a quote, nevertheless, they came back to me and said that apparently they couldn't confirm my address that I have been leaving in for 14 years +, they wouldn't even accept proof of Address which is shocking, like honestly, where do you think i am living if the government has already confirmed my address via passports, ID, Payslips and Electoral votes etc. Honestly a disgrace of an insurance Company. All the whilst while they took ages to get back to me and i had to contact them to chase up on my insurance. I advise those that are awaiting for there decisions, to apply to other Insurances as the likelihood of getting anywhere with Quote Detective is nearly impossible and will always find ways to increase your premium regardless if you have answered every question right.

An absolute disgrace of an insurance company!! Robbed me of my money when I was apparently in a cooling off period, wouldn’t accept my no claims bonus even though it was sent by my previous insurer! They are a scam and stay well clear, they are not helpful in anyway!! I’m annoyed I have to leave one star!! Disgrace of a company!!! They are not even an insurance company they are a broker company who get payed to take your money and then get another company to actually insure your vehicle! Scam!!!!!!!!!!

Absolute waste of time, they treat you like a criminal asking excessive information any of the insurers ask me before, pretending that they are cheapest on compere the market and it turns out they are only affiliate to other insurers. It seem that want you to inset a lot of time with them so you give up and buy it from them.

Carly has helped massively over the past few weeks with managing our account. We had to update our V5, which has taken some time, and with repeated notices to cancel from the insurance provider, Calry has managed to keep the line open while we get the updated documents. Very polite and courteous. Thanks Carly!

I would put 0 starts if I could. I cancelled my insurance 5 mintutes after I purchased it and was charged £180. The lady on the phone was very rude and I will not be using again.
