May 26,2024Been waiting for a frefund after my son cancelled policy NOT arrived yet and they can’t even get my surname correct I wonder how many of you people that have given good reviews realise that they charge £125 to just set up the policy they also get paid by the Insurance company I recently renewed my Mercedes 4x4 ML and was only charged a very small £6.50 to set up my policy with another company and only had to pay £56 deposit which included the £6.50 this is with a different company so to the gentleman who is waiting for a refund of £2000 you might find the set up fee of £125 being deducted they should not be allowed to get away with such high set up charges I lease get my name right when you reply

May 20,2024Took insurance out with quote detective, they were very helpful but I managed to find it a lot cheaper so I’ve cancelled it the next day insurance didn’t start for another 4 days. I get there would be some charges but I’ve now been waiting 20days for my refund which is nearly £2000 it’s says on the letter it can take up to 30 days which is awful long time. just hope they hurry up now if refunded in the next 10 days I will change my review because other than waiting so long for my money back they were really helpfull.

Jun 06,2024Wow, My son called this company today that quoted car insurance via go-compare he'd looked around and decided to go with this shambles !! Got the quote via the go compare website called them as prompted on the website to go ahead. Spoken with Ebony in after going through extra stuff (ok) who said all is fine a call needs to be made via the underwriters and will call you back in 15 mins to process things there's no problem? These are brokers not insureses I NEEDED INSURANCE THAT DAY This was at 3.40pm.… 30 mins 50 mins 1.10 mins so he called them back they had no idea who he was or what he was insuring they said a van in fact it was a car an Audi A4 cut to the chase Alisa I think he called himself called him back after looking in to it and said the underwriting team from Watford underwriters are closed so if you want to go ahead with the quote it's £514.11 more expensive now because they couldn't within a promised timescale get hold of the underwriting team from Watford so instead they used granite at the above extra cost instead. Do you wish to proceed... NO THANKS Now the point is are Go compare aware of this scam are the FCA aware of this scam I was quoted £2659 that due to the insurboardanation of ebony contacting the under team under delivering and over promising I was left with a choice of extra £514.11 more now that's a scam…. due to a company of underwriters being closed so the new quote being pressured towards me, as my son needed insurance on the 05/06/24 he was quoted on the 05/06/24 and the 3/6/24 they had plenty of time to organise as promised but totally turned into what I and my son believe to be a scam. My son is promised a call in the morning being 06/06/24 I'll update the scenario and price, there's no managers or anyone of position to speak to they are very unprofessional love calling customers MATE how odd!! So they called me back still with the higher price no contact with the underwriters (Watford)? I've now got insurance fully comp with other benefits with a well known company for £1824 same details inputted thanks for the try in my opinion it's a scam!! Be aware
