After making an offer to rent a flat, the estate agency ask Rent4sure to do our references. We filled the form and upload the documents needed right away. My partner received an email saying they can’t find on bank statement the income! So he had to do their job and highlight all income in each statements. He followed up with a phone call and he was told everything was fine. They came back and ask for statements and payslips that were already uploaded twice!!’ My partner is working for different companies. Apparently it is too difficult for Rent4sure to looked at all the payslips and statements… HR of 2 of the companies were on holiday so didn’t respond to the references and my partner failed his references because of that. When he called he was told by a rude lady that HR have to check their email when on holiday!!! I bet she doesn’t check her email during her holiday… very stressful and difficult experience Rent4sure failed us while 3 weeks earlier another reference company pass us!
Rent4Sure contacted my employer for a reference WITHOUT my authorisation. Why send an authority form requiring a signature prior to contacting my employer for a reference, which also needs to be scanned and uploaded to them before my employer can be contacted. Why bother sending that authority form in the first place if they're going to do it WITHOUT my authorisation anyways. So stupid. I'm outraged by this.
Rent4sure always keep Akelius up to date with all referencing being processed . References are actioned quickly Has a quick turnaround usually. chases tenants and answers calls fairly quickly. Happy with the service provided as always.

Occasionally our prospect tenants have complicated finances and Rent4sure have always been available on the phone for advice. So many firms through Covid reduced their work force making it very hard to talk to anyone, Rent4sure service has been consistently efficient.

They've made it a really easy process, can bulk upload documents and the customer service/communication has been great! Can't fault them at all.

This company is one of the worse that I've ever dealt with. They ask for a lot of information that is not totally necessary. Once you have supplied your details they come back at you for more. It can make you nervous, due to all the information you've handed over. I'm not sure what system they have that deems it necessary to know your whole credit history and more, but it's extremely intrusive & unnecessary.
