Good service and a friendly price sign up was easy also.
While searching for lower energy rates, I came across Rhythm. I had some questions about a particular plan, so I called. I wasn't on hold for forever, and the customer service rep even let me know about a cheaper plan than the one I was calling about. Needless to say, I switched. So far, I'm very happy with my service.
Well, this company ruined my day and possibly my month. I accidentally setup a new account to start a few days before my contract runs out with my current provider and they are refusing to cancel even though they claim you have 30 days. Well, it's been less than an hour. Now my previous provider want to charge me over $200 in early termination fees for an accidental change of a few days early.
Immediately activated my new service Extremely nice provider
I didn't have to worry about activation, it was done quickly and properly. And they work with the date of payment, which to me shows they care about the customers availability.
I have a Solar Buyback program. The prices, so far as I can tell, are competitive. No issues there. The main difficulty is their "energy usage" measure on the webpage. The estimate for my solar production for a given day will change two or three times (at that point, it seems accurate). Estimates of our consumption, though, are staggeringly off. By their measure, we were consuming just above 100 kwH for the billing period. The actual bill, based on our Oncor meter reading, informed us that we had consumed 193 kwh. So - the estimate was only off by about... let's see... nearly 100%. Not the first time (last month it was off by "only" 60%). Why bother offering a measure to your customers if it's useless? The web page has other issues, as well. I have received a letter telling me that my contract was about up. Fair enough, I thought. I went to the Rhythm website, and any attempt to look up upcoming solar buyback contracts always just landed me on my personal page, with its "Welcome Back!" title. There was no way to get to a page with the contracts on it. I called the company about this, and was told that I would not be able to see the contracts for another month or two. Why tell me about renewals already then, if you won't let me look? The prices are really good, probably the best for solar buyback... but their web-customer interaction leaves much to be desired.
Rhythm Energy stands out as a Texas-based electricity company with a distinctive approach to providing good energy to its customers. The company positions itself as one that genuinely cares about its customers, aiming to elevate expectations in an industry where the focus has often been on profits rather than customer satisfaction.
I Want to Give Zero to this Scam Company they dont know what charges made in your bill i got 400$ Extra which TDU - goRhythmTheScamCompany saying Centerpoint added this charge but CenterPoint says we dont have any idea about this charge .. goRythmScamCompany promised me starting of contract 2 months free but now #GoRhythmTheScamCompany
they had been good for a couple of years, then they got greedy. when I signed up they bought back electricity at the same rate as selling it. Now they reduced the buyback rate by 34%. 15.5cents to 10.2cents. My panels, that I am PAYING for, their profit.
I called to cancel the day service was supposed to be transferred, never even used the service bc my apartment switched my unit and somehow I'm expected to pay almost $100.
We love the weekly emails and text messages detailing weekly usage and projected final account balance. Finally, and perhaps more importantly, for the future of our children and grandchildren, we must look to renewable energy sources. Our planet needs it, and the state.
Nasty little thieves, a Year ago my contract expired with Rhythm and I went online and set up a renewal with a different email address. I did this because , contrary to what they claim they do not offer the same contract once they have you tied in. I received my renewal welcome packet and I was set, I lately noticed my bills are extremely high, between $500 and $600 a month for a standard home. I went online and could no longer log into my account. I contacted Rhythim and it turns out they automatically deleted the new account and started billing month to month on the expired account, this has been happening for 11 months. I had a chat with Iris Robinson and she told me they are not prepared to pay the money back they stole from me. But I have the right to close my account at no additional costs. Horrible company. Run from them. ------ Yet another lie in the reply below. In fact I had a long pleading discussion with Iris Robinson asking her to please do what is right, she queried her manager and it was decided that they will not do what is right. Be carefull of these people, money above honour.
I recently signed up and I am doing nothing differently. Still work the same hours and my electrical usage hasn't changed except that I don't keep my ac as low as I did before switching. Yet somehow my first two bills were higher than any bill i ever had with any other provider. The charge per Kwh is not much more than my last provider. I cannot understand how one person in a 1,500 sqft home can have an electric bill that is over 350.00 every month.
Easy navigation! Great visual, had no issues finding information needed. Thanks.
Excellent customer 😃
Very pleased with Rhythm's energy rates and updates. Top notch customer service!
Saving a lot of money! Thank, you for that and the easy payment process!Glad I switched!
Price of electricity is too expensive. Everything else seems fine.
