Robinson's Shoemakers is one of Ireland's most prestigious gentlemen's shoe companies offering bespoke shoemaking, traditional English footwear brands, a repair service and Robinson's own brand of off the shelf hand-made shoes.
Established Carrickfergus, Northern Ireland in 1954 by William & Annie Robinson as a local leather workshop and traditional cobbler, Robinson's has been at the centre of Carrickfergus for over 60 years. Now a third generation family business the company continues to grow from strength to strength offering expertise in all things shoe related not just locally but across the world.
In an ever faster paced world, were things rarely stay the same for long, it is refreshing to sometimes stop and to think at how things used to be done. Aug 15,2014... that way your customer will only be disappointed that the shoes he ordered, which were shown as being in stock, are not actually available for 4-6 weeks, but he will not have to wait to get his payment back on his credit card that you shouldn't have been taken in the first place !

Aug 11,2014The shoes that I ordered were delivered quickly, earlier than I expected. In the box, the Loake shoes I ordered were exactly what I expected. I will be using Robinson's again in the near future as it is difficult to get quality English shoes in Romania.

I had to change my order and they were very easy to deal with and quickly got my orders switched. The range of shoes available on their website is superb. My husband loves Barker shoes so I will most definitely be using robinsons again and again in the future!

Aug 09,2014Starting a new job is always delicate. Having just received the two pairs of Barker Shoes from Robinson's, I had not had the time to try them out "in action". It was also my first experience of an Internet purchase of shoes, and the G width sizing is pretty tricky to get. But the week went well, and my new shoes gave me a new Business stride to my first steps in my new company ! Thanks, I'll be back soon !

Aug 09,2014Have only very good experiences so far and very happy with the two purchases. The only thing to mention for possible improvement is the filter function on the website. When changing filter criteria you have to first delete all previous filters. Would be great if you could remove/edit filters individually so you don't have to redo all filters again from the beginning. But this is such a minor thing. I will certainly return again and would recommend to others in a flash.
