Jan 24,2020The application for which these tubes were purchases is yet to be fully tested. It will be a few more weeks before we begin testing our prototypes. The tubes themselves arrived quickly. We were happy about that. They also adhered to the general dimensions listed which saved us some time on additional machining. Our tests will be done to determine if the epoxy resins used to make these tubes will really stand up to temperatures of 250 degrees Fahrenheit. We are also checking to see if the rigidity of these same tubes is what we hope it will be. We were disappointed to find that the Coefficient of Thermal Expansion numbers were not readily available for these specific CF tubes. However they did offer to run the tests for us to determine these numbers. According to the fellow we corresponded with, this gracious offer would have cost us another 1000-dollars. NO Thanks. We ran the expansion tests ourselves using a simple high school science testing method that yielded useable numbers for us. Other than that, so far so good. CTE numbers should be made available to buyers if they need them.

Jan 21,2020We have been trying to get a straight answer on our replacement material for over a week. Instead of just telling us all the material you had is stock was junk, you just told us that your shipping dept pulled the wrong stuff. When we asked if you could just over night the correct material you said you would look into it and when we heard back from you we were given a 10+ day date that the material was going to ship out by. This was for a job that was due over a month ago at this point. This is the first time we have ever had issues with you guys but this was handled very poorly. Even given the new date that the material is supposed to ship out, 1/22/20, we are still told it will ship 3 day select. This is not really acceptable either. The tubes are not heavy and we are super late because of your error in incoming receiving and quality inspection prior to shipping tubes out. These should be sent to us over night at your expense without us even having to ask. We have made it very clear that we are very late because of your error.
