I applied for storage online. The process was fast and NO hassle. As soon i received confirmation I went to the location in ripple road barking where I met Allan the manager of the store. He is a gentleman, a great person very hospitable. He made the process simple and easy.

I needed a storage unit at really short notice and wasn't sure of my options. Junior was extremely polite and friendly helping to manage a very stressful moving day. He also provided solutions to my issues and was extremely patient. Safestore is by far the best storage unit company in Birmingham.

Really good value for money with their half price for two months. Couldn't find storage cheaper. Felt clean, staff were helpful. Only begrudge is the cost of the padlock. Remember to buy your own from elsewhere in advance!

Less than a star ! Hi I’m absolutely heartbroken ,I’m in a difficult and distressing situation. Which affected my physical health and my mental health.As my belongings means a lot to me ( mentally and all my stuff I bought from my savings).I’m still in shock and I can’t believe it. You didn’t give a final notice or tell me that you will auction it I checked last email was regarding payment with a link that’s it no warring that you will sell my stuff if I did pay or anything final notice as I just checked as I explained before I had a surgery and was in the hospital so I was in a critical condition. I know you have got a lien over my belongings but first you have to give an option or a notice before doing what you did. You had to give the option and you could hold on to My belongings before auction it . It’s so unfair and I just want my belongings that’s it please. Give me the number of the auction And I need the number of the debt collection ASAP as I asked on the phone? I’ll pay my outstanding and I’ll pay upfront. There’s no humility please!Important to read and reply I’ve been sent you emails but no responses what so ever. I need the number of the agency collection and the receipts of the items that been sold and the amount it been collected. It’s my right. You sold it without my a final notice and you breached the contract and you been not corporate with this matter! Bad customer service

Choose a different company. I was lied to about my cancellation policy I was told I needed to give one weeks notice however it is 2 weeks notice. I was charged £14 for a padlock that is worth £3 but was not given the option to use my own. Once I went In to cancel the liverpudlian that looked very shifty and who actually signed me up when I challenged him about the fact he told me a week he started to get irate saying " listen mate don't tell me how to do my job" and every time.e I spoke he rolled his eyes and huffed. He worked for Simpson for 12 years no doubt from his attitude under the ex offenders scheme. Appalling customer service. Once they have you signed up they have no interest in you. There is only one lift for what looks like a thousand units so difficult to get in and out and no use able stairs.take my advice look for some where else and if you do use these make sure you read tje small print . Since leaving my review I have been reached out to by John Barker who I believe to be an area manager. John has been the face of the company that you would hope for trying to get to the bottom of what went wrong to ensure that it does nt happen again. 10 out of 10 for the follow up and hopefully ensuring this never happens again. When dealing with the public we have to ensure that we do not take what ever emotions we have outside of work into work and ensure that we are proffesional at all times wich I am 100% sure John is and will make sure his staff are in the future. Thank you for the courtesy call John Just received my pro rata money back from safestore of £5.10 for a week wich is slightly confusing because my bill for the month was £51 some of that being made up of insurance for the lock up . If we take an average of 4 weeks as that is how it is billed the average to me is £12.50 so I am confused at where this £5.10 comes from. Once again feeling slightly annoyed with safestore.
I was in a desperate situation where I needed a safe and urgent place to store my charity items because my charity business partners had done me great harm and changed the lock on our premises so I was unable to offload the stock in our store. Safestore was able to put me up at short notice. They gave me peace of mind, assurance, empathy, kind, caring staff, especially the Manager Paul, Jack all very helpful, supportive. Paul sorted me out very quickly, he came through during my time of great distress and need. I settled in quickly and was able to offload our van full of stock. Very clean store, kind, helpful staff. Also thank you to Jermaine on the phone recently he was very helpful, understanding, supportive… as I’ve been going through a great deal of difficulties with my charity endeavours. I would recommend this store to anyone needing urgent space.
I am a delivery driver for UPS. I go into safestore (Coventry) most days. Monday to Friday. Miss Rash & her team are always very friendly, polite and very helpful to me, even helping me load my van with collections from Amazon customers on site…. A big thankyou from me Kevin…
