I have tried 3 different styles of trainers, slips ons and canvas shoes of their own brand. Have never worn anything so uncomfortable.please be kind to yourself and buy something nice. Obviously they are not professionals at making real 'shoes'..
Shocking experience - have had great experience before this but the returns process has been shocking. They didnt refund my money and I now have to contact Klarna

The returns process is an utter nightmare. Firstly, there is a £2.50 return fee if you have not got an account (which you would only discover if you read the detailed returns page ) secondly, only some click collect+ stores collect yodel parcels so I had to travel a distance to a store instead of using my local one. Thirdly, the store I went to had a different name to the website and was difficult to locate. All this was after I had 3 attempts at getting the order number to be recognized on the returns website. Schuh do not ask me to email you, just send an apology . I have no interest in interacting with you.
Bought a pair of converse for my daughter and within 3 months the soles had worn through and the upper split on one of them. Took them back to Schuh and they refused me a refund. They pretty much just said it was because she had worn them! Shoes not fit for purpose and Schuh service awful. Won't be shopping there again.
Awful experience. Spent £200 and paid for following day delivery. Parcel should have arrived last Sunday. It's Friday and I still didn't get it. It says it is at the local shop but it's not!
I would avoid ordering online from Schuh. I ordered 2 pairs of boots, as I had paid £275 and there was no precise delivery day I did not want to risk not being in when they were delivered so I requested delivery to my local store. They were due to be delivered on Saturday but when I had no confirmation by Monday I called to see if they were ready to collect. I was advised by a head office staff member that there was a delay due to the bank holiday but they should arrive by Wednesday. On The Wednesday I received an email which confused me as it acknowledged my return and advised a refund would be processed?! I called again and advised there must be a mistake as I had not even received my items yet. The call handler advised the email was sent as the order was sent to the wrong store and returned (hence return email) but they were now out of stock of the item so would be refunding me. I assume the operator I spoke to on the Monday was aware they were delivered to the wrong store but decided not to disclose the information. Unimpressed with the incompetence by this company so will not shop with them in the future.

Bough a pair of Schuh branded school shoes for my 5 year old, that retailed at £45. After 2 months they have fallen apart, and are unwearable. Spoke to customer services, and they just said to 'pay' to send them to head office to be 'quality checked'. Really bad customer service, won't be back anytime soon.
I have ordered 2 pairs of shoes that were delivered to the wrong address. At first they said they were definitely delivered to me which was impossible because I was not even at home. Then magically after sending a million emails they re appeared. I asked to have them delivered to a pick a place where I found only one pair so the whole thing of me having to email them again started again. Throughout the whole thing they kept says one thing and then another. Often what the courier said was something completely different from what the company said. As I write this after 2 weeks I still have not been refunded for the missing shoes. Avoid at all costs.
Awful…. First wrong size delivered. Only good part was advisor refunded. I returned boots to Portsmouth shop who didn’t want to assist even though I argued I had no time to return item via post as I was leaving for holiday. The shop were reluctant to help as refund already issued and I still left boots with them. Now Schuh have sent debt collection to me with threatening letters when I am the one who was wronged. What awful communication and refund system. Head office now investigating but I hope they sort this out as I do not appreciate being made to be a guilty party. I even took photos of the wrong item so hopefully this will help argue my case with Schuh.
Gave up in the end....Card payments don't seem to work and only push Klarna. I tried three different bank cards and each time says failed and to contact bank. Really, the issue seems more your end. Wouldn't recommend and advise to steer clear, the low star ratings are for a reason.

After completely getting my order wrong and realising I chose the wrong shoes I contacted Schuh. The cancelled the order and provided an immediate refund. Regan and Eve were fantastic in assisting with me. Very happy customer
Ordered 2 different pairs of boots, they are perfect. They go along with many outfits. I've got them on sales which is perfect. The first one is schuh Black Della Platform Knee Boot Boots and also schuh Black Diana Stretch Over The Knee Boots.
I was happpy tosee they've got a nice choice of vegan boots. The look nice are are very comfortable. Uunfortunately, they're not worth their price. All of the 4 pairs I purchased (over £50 each) fell apart after 3-4 months use. I left a couple of reviews on their website that have never been published - even though they were honest and truthful. I hate shady companies who only publish glowing reviews on their website.
I've shopped with schuh for years now, mainly in-store, but having just ordered from their website, I can confirm the company has probably the slowest exchange process I've ever experienced, with any business. It took almost a week and a half from ordering the initial pair to just now getting the right size, as their size guide suggested I needed the bigger size. Fair enough, you can't 100% rely on this info, and it's my silliness for not going into a store, but I honestly thought the exchange process would be so much quicker. Also, there was barely any communication from the company from the moment they received my return, to evri emailing me that they've now got my parcel from schuh. In-store experience over the years, absolutely 5 stars. Online experience, not so much, hence the 4 stars.
Wir haben Schuhe bestellt, wo sich nach ca. 4x Tragen leider die Sohle ablöste. Nach Kontaktaufnahme wurden wir gebeten, die Schuhe einzusenden. Das haben wir getan. Nun kam eine Reaktion von Schuh.de: Hier liegt kein Materialfehler vor. Die Schuhe wurden angeblich gewaschen. Bitte was? Also das man versucht, eine Reklamation abzuwimmeln, kann man noch irgendwie versuchen zu verstehen. Aber so eine dämliche Ausrede. Welcher normal denkende Mensch wäscht Lederschuhe? Also hier wird der Kunde komplett verarscht. Und wir haben dort schon oft bestellt und waren eigentlich immer zufrieden. Aber nun nicht mehr. Das war definitiv das letzte Mal.
Mollie from the Rushden Lakes store was absolutely amazing with my 11 year old daughter when we visited in the week. My daughter has a disability which means that she can only wear a very limited style of shoes that can have an orthortic lift added to their sole. Am so glad it was Mollie who looked after us that day as my daughter came away feeling so much more confident about her choice of shoes. She was kind and patient and helped us find the right shoes for her. The colourway she wanted wasn't in stock but we shall be going back there to get them when they are. Most of our shoe shop visits end in tears and it was so wonderful for my daughter to leave smiling and confident for a change. A little kindness and understanding goes such a long way and Mollie is a true credit to the store. Thank you.

Jun 02,2023I went into store to buy two pairs of shoes. I knew which ones I wanted but I decided not to get them online as I wanted to support my local store. I walked around the store and nobody even acknowledged I was there. There were loads of people working and quite a few of them free. It was quite obvious I was waiting and nobody came and none of them looked approachable at all, plus why should I go and ask someone? Are you making that much money in your stores that you’re not going to even acknowledge the people who have made the effort to come in? Extremely disappointed with the lack of service so I left without buying anything.
