Wish I’d read the reviews before I’d ordered. £200 worth of shoes poorly packaged. Shipping bag was open on arrival. One shoe box was so wet the box has fallen apart. Looked like the parcel has been kicked around the courier floor. And obviously don’t check what’s in the box before being sent. As one of the prs I ordered is a mismatched pair one being mat black and the other was patent burgandy. But at least it was one left and one right. And like with so many other online retailers you can’t get to speak to anyone when there is a problem. Waited for 45 minutes on the phone and then gave up so don’t hold out much hope for my WhatsApp either being replied too.
There customer help team are awful. Was waiting 30minutes just for me not to be out through as they decided to go home early. Also their online platform is useless don’t even try use it they won’t answer!! Delivery was good but tracking information was very limited. Don’t advise just go JD.!!!!
I visited the Schuh store in St. Stephen's, Hull on 30/11/24. The store was very busy, being black Friday sales, however, I was really impressed with the staff. All were really friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them, particularly Will, who was very helpful and happy in his work. Well done to the Hull store, keep it up.
I was served by a lovely professional young lady, Ruby in the White Rose Store today. Ruby helped me to find the perfect pair of Doc Martens. Super helpful and great customer service! Thank you!
Great company. Evri “lost” (robbed 5 of my parcels including a pair of shoes) and schuh quickly sent a replacement pair out
When you order something you don't expect to receive the shop display shoe. Completely tatty inner packaging and smashed box especially for something that is advertised as new NOT EX DISPLAY
Rubbish, don't buy your kids school shoes from here. Bought my son new shoes for the new term which started in September, as of now the soles are totally worn out and have holes in them. This should not happen to £50 shoes for kids, the quality is poor and the price is high. Go elsewhere
Be very careful about ordering from Schuh online. I ordered 3 pairs of boots and only 2 arrived. I complained to Schuh about this and they ‘investigated’ the matter and said I was liable for paying £150 for a pair of shoes that never turned up. Absolutely no thanks to Schuh, the boots were found by Fedex and they delivered them to me - but if they hadn’t found the boots I would have had to pay £150 for an item that was lost! Highly risky to order from them, if something doesn’t arrive there is zero protection for the customer - be very careful!
Appalling service. No email upon dispatch so didn't know package was on the way, had to manually search FedEx's website to find where my parcel was, only to find they'd already tried delivering it 3 times (no card through door). Schuh representative said they'd be in touch with FedEx to ask them to leave with a neighbour, this didn't happen. Left a signed note on front door requesting the parcel be left round back of the house, haven't done that either. Have now requested the order be cancelled. Will never ever use Schuh again so long as I live.
I always shop at schuh have great deals. But I'm a size 8.5 and the don't do VANS KNU SKOOL in that size strange as other shops do them
Horrible service, lady charged me for a simple mistake due to a lack of information. What I saw as a free shoe cleaning service she saw as a way to steal my money. I believe I should get a full refund for this mistake and she lose her job for yelling at me when I was confused
If I could rate this 0 stars, I would. Ordered pair of shoes. Wore them for approx 100m test walk.. do not get on with them (literally got a blister this fast) Try to return. Told they were worn. No sh1t. Just like every pair in the shop that have been tried on by hundreds of people. Fok this company.
Received trainers that had been display ones, straight from the shop floor with all the marked down stickers on. Trainers clearly worn and no care in parcelling them up. Returns and exchange process is painfully slow. Customer service moves at a snail’s pace. Main gripe is passing off worn items as new - it’s a massive no no 👎
Purchased a pair of Birkenstock Arizona sandals from the Schuh website. It was at full price so there should be no excuse for anything other than completely new. It was received in the wrong kind of box (the bigger box for Boston, instead of the smaller box that Arizona should come in). The box was bashed. The barcodes on the Birkenstock label had been white-stickered over to hide them, and a generically printed barcode was put on instead. The sandals looked new, but the Birkenstock tag was missing. There was a few specks of glitter on the foot bed. Clearly it was a pair that someone had tried on and returned. It should really be sold as ‘like new’, not brand new. I suppose the risk with buying clothes or shoes online is that there is a chance you could get someone else’s return, but Schuh should not be re-selling them at full price unless completely pristine. Reluctantly I’ve decided to keep and wear them, but it has put me when off buying online from Schuh again.
This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. I ordered an item that I did not receive. When I started to look for the location of my goods, they said that they left it with a neighbor and that they do not take any responsibility. I asked to send a picture, they ignored my request. You sent a delivery history where neither the street nor the apartment is specified, only the district. Not even a zip code. Shame on the Shuh company. BE CAREFUL BUYING FROM THIS COMPANY!!!
Trued to order online but would not allow payment. Contacted customer services who could not complete the order either and promised to investigate problem and ring back in an hour. They did not. Got a call at 16.26 but rung off after 3 rings so could not answer. Rung number straight away but hot message that service was now shut fir the day. Than got a message that if I still wanted to buy product that should go online. I did this today and still not able to complete purchase. Clearly the item isn't actually available but Schuh are using it to draw customers online. Accordingly I have deleted my account with them. I've shopped with them over many years but the service has got worse and I am taking my custom elsewhere. I will not go into their shops either. Save uiurself the hassle and do the same. Truly appalling customer service response.
The shoes I purchased had a manufacturing error which I only noticed after some time. I shipped the shoes back for inspection, and was given the option of a replacement or a refund. Everyone I spoke to, both over email and over the phone, was really helpful in making this right for me.
I’ve been awaiting a refund for almost a month now despite contacting customer service and receiving assurances it would be with me by today as it was delayed last week. There was also an issue where they sent me an exchange I didn’t request but routed the parcel back to them. I don’t think I would ever shop with them again unless I had a store nearby where I could return to. It’s a shame as I have used them in the past (without returning anything) for my day to day trainer purchases and not had any issues. Reading the reviews below the customer service on returns seems to be very poor.
Love Schuh! Bought two expensive pairs of shoes online. Schuh put into two packages, and despite someone being in, the Evri delivery driver didn't knock, took a photo of both packages and only left one. Evri have been no help, but the lovely customer service person at Schuh arranged for a delivery of the missing item. Thanks, Schuh!

Dec 03,2024Sent me used shoes. Clearly hadn't been checked when they were returned. Return process is annoying too, why does it say it will charge me £2.50 unless I make an account? There shouldn't be a charge for you sending me goods that are not as described.
