Mar 25,2022I currently hold insurance with SEIB for my freelance horseback archery coaching business. While I am incredibly pleased with my own policy, and would have happily given a 5 star review, I was very dissapointed to hear that SEIB will no longer allow people to take out new horseback archery coaching policies as horseback archery has been added to the list of excluded activities. This is a severe hinderance to the growth and development of a fantastic sport, which is currently gathering momentum within the UK. For this reason I am unable to give 5 stars.

Mar 19,2022I received no confirmation of cover. No email, no documents. I had to call up on my way to pick up my new horse to confirm I had insurance. I was told my X-rays had been declined because they are in the wrong format. That was unacceptable. This should be something the vets are already aware of. It would be useful to send a email to your customer specifically for the vets so they can hand it over and save any confusion. To someone like me an X-ray is an X-ray!! Everyone I spoke to was very polite but in all honesty that doesn’t help when the service im paying for isn’t followed through. Very disappointed with the outcome

Process over the phone was painless, price was decent for good coverage and was able to insure a high value saddle within with no problems. Have used SEIB for 20 years or so, only ever had positive experiences with them.

I shopped around to find most other insurance companies had also increased their prices but still about £40 less for the same cover. SEIB matched another quote I had received. Very pleased.
