I have always trusted Servbank until recently. After hurricane Milton, I applied for assistance 3 times. The reason it was 3 was because each time I was accepted for assistance I received letters stating my mortgage payment was late. I would call Servbank to inquire only to find I was NOT accepted for assistance. 3 calls accepted and 3 calls denied. NOW we have a problem….
ServBank has had trouble at every step once the purchased my mortgage. They had trouble receiving paid funds from my prior lender, they take in excess of 15 days to process a payment, they had trouble working with my insurance provider. They have been a nightmare to work with.
I was disappointed in Servbank in the beginning. I started in April '24 with an application to assume another loan. Didn't get closed until Sept. '24. It seemed disorganized in the departments and their paperwork. Constantly having to give same information that was given at an earlier time. However, in the end I had a great person who helped me set up my account to be able to make my house payments. He was very patient, encouraging, and helpful in me getting my monthly payment setup. Servbank bought my fiances home loan a year ago and have had nothing but problems since. They are always sending certified letters and calling him threatening to take his home unless he makes a payment. Hes been making 2 or 3 full mortgage payments every month and something always happens. They claim they didn't receive it, one time they sent back a money order!! Ive been a witness to him setting up auto pay multiple times and again something ends up happening on their end. Countless times ive listened to and recorded his phone calls with them. They obviously don't communicate amongst each other. By the end of each call it sounds like everything is taken care of but a couple days later, another call with same issues. Hes asked questions and most the time they can't answer them. They trip over their words. There's been several times we asked where they were calling from and they say from an offshore location. Seems like such a scam!!! Its infuriating!! Would be helpful to actually talk to someone within servbank and not offshore. Feels like ground hogs day
Will not resolve a simple issue. We pay our homeowners insurance directly and they will not remove from our monthly mortgage payment. I’ve been calling them and providing information for 4 months. They outsource their Customer Service (outside the US) and theres no way to escalate the issue. No corporate headquarters, nobody to discuss with. I just get the same scripted response on the phone.

I talked with Steven, today. And he went over all my payment history since I had been behind a month. He helped find the extra Money that was sent to the principal oof the loan. OMG HOW HAPPY WE ARE!! Only have to pay a lot less for September due to extra payment. I was lost making that extra payment but Steven went above and beyond to see where that mistake had been and found it. Totally sorry for the bad review before, I was just so furious. But ServBank employee Steven, YOU ARE THE BEST!! I will refer you to anyone who asks. Thank you once again ServBank for finding that little miss stake that let us breathe again. by far this is the worst mortgage company on the planet. Unauthorized charges withdrawn from my account . Money owed never received. Terrible customer service. Just a all around terrible experience.
Surprisingly very easy to deal with. Ran was knowledgeable and patient as I asked my many questions setting up my new account when my mortgage was sold. Very pleased
The app to pay your mortgage is the absolute worst and most frustrating experience I have had with any app out there. Every single month when I go to log in I have issues! I consistently get wrong username or password. I have literally screenshot my login info and used it the next month and that next month comes and I get the exact same issues. I’m over it! The app N reds to allow for saving login (even though it says it has it the do not save it) or allow customers to use face recognition. Please fix this!!! I’m sure nobody else is going to pay my mortgage for me!!! Please get it right!!
Not at all pleased by the logical concept of company. Have been charged multiple late fees, unwarranted! Can't find my payments, bill me for not being able to find my payments submitted prior to due date. Being a VETERAN Super disappointed! Sorry you were able buy my loan without my permission. You have some of the WORST customer service. Can not wait to be rid of you.
Im not at all happy with the Telephone automated system at all, its a lot like Verizon, ADMV, T-Mobile, and so on! I think they got the message that its not working to get the mortgage holders to the right party at Servbank. we have no choice but to deal with them. I got my problem squared away with my rep and had my payments automatically taken from my account to their money pit! I want a paper trail so this all can be accounted for! unlike some politicians we all know.
Servbank recently purchased my 30 yr mortgage from another provider. Servbank is horrible. Payments are processed in Dallas. Their Phoenix location is their collections group. They're not even working together on the same computer system. When your payment clears your bank on the 3rd of each month, the Phoenix group can't even see that. You have until the 15th of every month to pay. The uninformed, clueless Collections group starts calling you saying you're behind on the 15th. I've been terrorized for 2 months since Servbank took over my mortgage. My payments have been on time. Servbank is hideous! Two depts, in 2 different states aren't connected and don't even update each other. Plus you need a translator for the interaction. I actually had 1 out of 8 English speaking reps, who spoke English but more importantly actually understood it. Servbank sucks! I keep getting useless Collections calls for no reason. OMG! The unwarranted drama! Servbank is a total nightmare!

Stevan at Servbank assisted me with necessary queries I had for online banking transaction, to pay towards principal, when the site was not taking it, per my computer, also he checked for my new analysis , and further assisted towards my decision accordingly.
