Feb 16,2019David and Peter came today to clear our gutters and remove ALOT of moss from our roof. They worked really hard and were careful moving and clearing in preparation and then cleaning the gutters and roof. They have done an amazing job and l am absolutely thrilled with the roof! It looks like new. I would have no hesitation in recommending Smartshielduk to anyone needing any maintenance work. Thank you to Stuart too for easy communication and running a great company Thank you so much

Feb 12,2019The weather on the day of the roof cleaning was awful, wind and driving rain, was beginning to think it may be cancelled but the two lads turned up and took it in their stride, both were polite and courteous and carried out their work proficiently. Overall I’m very happy with the job though there is now a colour difference between mine and the neighbours roof who have also had their roof cleaned several years ago. But overall great job!

Feb 12,2019We were very happy with David's work. Our roof did present some unexpected challenges, but they approached the problems knowledgable and adapted the roof treatment to suit our needs. We paid on the day and they promised to come back to complete follow-up work in a few weeks time once the initial treatment had set in. They were true to their word and we are satisfied with the results. Our roof no longer seems to have leaks, is free from moss, and the gutters are draining well.

Jan 30,2019I was looking for someone to clean the mosses at the rear of my property(loft extension) and someone had referred me to Smartshield- that’s how I ended up speaking with Stuart.Stuart offered a best price for the roof cleaning so I booked for roof cleaning job and later on booked the same team (Danny & Nick) for the facias,sofits& gutters replacement . Nick and Danny did a great job, tho I was asking them lot of questions they were explaining me patiently as I was carrying out these work myself while my husband was away on business They did an awesome job - so I booked them to repair the chimney which was leaking for a while. They did a wonderful job! Now I ahve booked them for some more roof repairs and roof protective coating. Stuart was very polite and kind enough to answer my questions and send the guys back to look at things to put my mind at rest. I have to say this, best customer service ever! And probably will book them for our other properties that we are letting out currently.

Jan 29,2019We had a roof covered in Moss which kept on falling off, so contacted Smartshield. Initial contact was easy and Stuart informed me of all the options, no pushy sales pitch which was nice and agreed a price on the phone. They cleaned the roof, used a moss killer and sealed the roof, cleaned up after themselves and left the place spotless. Danny and his team were very good and some of the best tradesmen we have used, explained what they would be doing and the length of time to do the job. Everything done swiftly and on time and walked me around after to make sure I was happy, can't fault this company from start to finish and would strongly recommend to anybody.

Jan 26,2019the job of roof clean, paint and reguttering had a few issues after first visit but the owner of the business had a couple of people he couldn’t rely on fully since been moved on. he was as good as his word in sending a team back to make good on the issues and now we are totally satisfied with the work. on cost, quality and pride in what they do smartshield tick all the boxes in our experience.

Jan 25,2019Danny and Nick just cleaned my roof today and did a fantastic job. The roof looks like new, despite it being quite heavily discoloured and moss-covered beforehand. They did a very thorough job, and blended the tiles where we have had an extension so it is impossible to see the join. They also arrived promptly at 8.30, were polite and helpful and cleared up everything afterwards. Great Job!

Jan 23,2019David and Peter finished cleaning my roof today and the result is amazing. It’s without doubt the best £ for £ impact on the kerbside appeal of our house - our roof now looks brand new and David says it’s in great condition which gives me extra assurance. Before I booked the work I was a little sceptical, despite having seen the ‘before’ and ‘after’ photos in the marketing material, but still thought it was worth a go because our roof is nearly 20 years old and contrasted poorly with the new roof on a recent extension. David and Peter worked extremely hard, were incredibly thorough and delivered excellent customer service. In addition, when the job was almost finished Stuart called me for feedback and to thank me for my custom. All round a fantastic job!

The guys were professional and pleasant to have around. They protected everywhere with plastic sheets and did a wonderful job of completely clearing up all the mess. I am so pleased with the job and would highly recommend Smartshield. Stuart in the office was great to deal with too and gave great information and advice. .

Jan 12,2019From my initial call with Smartseal, I had Stuart from Smartshield call me back immediately, he thoroughly explained the process of getting my roof coated also the best colour that would look good on my project as I’m rufurbing my house at the same time. I wanted the roof done pretty quick, but he did explain that with the current temperature it was not the best time to get it done. So we put a plan in place to get it cleaned now which was done within two days of speaking to him and then to come back in spring to get it coated. David and Peter arrived at the property prompt on time and got stuck in, really hardworking guys and they did an excellent job of cleaning the roof tiles taking extra care and repointing where needed. the roof already look really good, I can’t wait to see the complete job once coating has been done. All in it has been a great experience so far and I would not hesitate to recommend Stuart and his team to anyone looking to use them. Excellent Service *****

Jan 11,2019Two nice guys came around in a van, parked in our back garden, asked where the hose was, moved all of the back garden furniture carefully out of the way, asked us to move our car from the front garden, and a few hours later our roof went from an absolute mess to being completely clean. There were no annoyances, no complications, the guys just got on with it and the results were excellent, the same can also be said for their customer service.

Dec 17,2018I found Smartshielduk online and I don’t regret my choice at all. The owner Stuart is super nice person and he responded quickly to my query by phone and messages on WhatsApp. He sent two of his guys ‘Darren & Dave’ who are super professional. They have done an excellent job and they made sure to inform us before each steps during the entire process. The result was so impressive, it’s a big shame that trust pilot doesn’t allow to upload pictures!! They are not only professional but very friendly guys. They have charged us raisonnable price for the amount of job they have done. They have left the place very tidy and clean at the end. All in all we are super happy about their work and we highly recommend anyone to use them for a roof cleaning. We will definitely use them again.

Dec 14,2018Highly Recommend Stuart and his team. Professional Friendly and did a fantastic job. The four man team arrived on time and just got on with it and the end result looks amazing. As good as their word the odd broken tile was replaced and the mess was all removed. side note: If, like my wife, you can't stand mess I would suggest you go get some retail therapy or visit a friend for the day. It is a messy job but they clear it away, wash down the walls windows and path. We were very impressed with the team and would be more than happy to recommend Stuart and Smartshield UK and to use them again. thank you for a great Job.

Nov 20,2018I didn’t believe my roof could ever look like one of the Smartshield ‘after’ photos - I was actually gobsmacked with the end result. From start to finish my experience with Smartshield was excellent. Stuart very quickly came back to my enquiry with a reasonably priced quote, and also concise details of how they clean and treat the roof. The guys onsite on the day were punctual, friendly, efficient, and tidy. I would most definitely recommend Smartshield!

Nov 18,2018These guys are cowboys and all the other reviews are fake. Here is my experience: They dumped the dirt from the roof behind a bush in my garden, which I only discovered after they left. They left part of the property also dirty and they did not clean it up so what they claim in their marketing is an absolute rubbish. The main guy onsite was a dodgy character who did a lot talking but never explained anything properly. I would not recommend this company whatsoever. An absolute and utter rubbish service.

Feb 18,2019Roof cleaned of moss on 11th February by Smartshield and what a difference - it has transformed the house. They were very professional and personable from the initial enquiry with Stuart through to the actual process of cleaning the roof by Danny & Nick. They also retiled part of the garage roof and replaced a few broken tiles whilst at the property. I recommend Smartshield without hesitation.
