Jul 19,2024I was hesitant about using a small company as I had purchased a "Loyalty card" with a National online retailer. Smiths Burscough were very helpful with comms & advice. I purchased a new 55" tv which was in stock for same day collection, and at a better price than than I could have achieved even with my AO loyalty card!

Jul 13,2024No fuss, straight forward installation of a dishwasher and removal of the old one for my elderly parent. She was shown how to use the device by the installer. Shop was great giving advice and helping me to register for the extended guarentee. Brilliant!

The reasons are that the shop is local with car parking round the corner, very competitive prices and a first class customer service. On this occasion we were thinking about upgrading our old tv but needed guidance on all the latest tech developments ie Oled, Qled, Neo Qled etc. We received all the help we needed to assist us in deciding the set to buy. Great service, price and a very satisfactory buying experience.

Jul 22,2024The online ordering is essentially an entrapment scheme. The have the LG G3 still listed for £1899 with "Free Scheduled Delivery", but do not believe this. "Free Scheduled Delivery" actually means they do not have any stock and they have no cooking clue if the supplier has stock either. Smith's took my money without checking stock first, then tried to up sell me a G4. This is really misleading and a simple "Out of Stock", "On Back Order" or "Contact us before ordering" would make things much clearer on their website and would not have wasted 3 days of my time trying to find out when I was being contacted for delivery. 01/08/2024: EDIT after Smiths TV reply. Not good enough I am afraid. This TV is still up for sale on the website and can be added to the basket. Even when you know full well you cannot fulfill the order. This is 100% misleading customers. There is no indication at all that LG has no stock and you give no indication at all on whether you hold stock. You are obligated to clearly state the status of availability for an item for your customers to make an informed choice before committing to giving you money. Having "Free Scheduled Delivery" implies that stock is available and that a scheduled delivery date would be organized with the customer after they have secured an order.
