Feb 01,2025I’ve known Smiths TV, and Duncan the manager, for decades. I trust Duncan’s judgment when I’m spending about £1000 on equipment that I don’t know anything about. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Jan 31,2025Brought a cooker, once delivered it went down by £130 asked about it as i had not moved the cooker from by the front door where they had just delivered it. They said No! So asked for it to be returned, as i hadn't had it long enough to unwrap it. They ignored me, asked for their return policy and was ignored again. I support animal charities both local and afar. That extra money would have been donated, everywhere needs help this time of year.

Jan 27,2025Assistant was very knowledgeable, patient and helpful. Talked me through all different types of tvs available. TV was available for collection on date promised. I rang few days later with a query and was helped over the phone. All in all very happy. Good to be able to view product prior to purchase and have all my questions answered which wouldn’t happen if buying on line. Came with 5 years warranty, so although a little more expensive than on line worth it, as on line offered only one year warranty.

I like to support local businesses where possible so that was another plus The sales staff have been very helpful answering any queries I have had they obviously know their products. Altogether a very good experience.

Jan 27,2025These guys sold me a TV during the Black Friday deals which they did not in fact have in stock and could not deliver it at the price I paid for it. After 12 days of chasing my order (with difficulty) there was no movement. So I ended up cancelling and ordering elsewhere and paying £100 more as the black Friday deals were now off. Costly mistake - I like to support small businesses which is why I ordered from here in the first place but I would have been wise to stick to the big retailers. There are others with the same issue in the reviews here on TP. I’m sure they will reply to this mentioning that I cancelled the order but this is 2025 and 12 day waits for online orders is not acceptable. I would have left a higher star review but I asked them for a verified trust pilot link and they ignored me… so 1 star it is. Edit: thanks for the response. Adjusted my rating. All the best
