Been with this company for over 8 years, never disputed our renewals and always let the policy run. Direct debits were paid on time very month. Never had any issues until recently. We changed banks and contacted Source to get our log in access. Never received a response to went ahead with the change of banks, our bank was dealing with the direct debits. Today 13th December, I received a letter dated 5th December, to say please contact us within 7 days to bring your account up to date. I called straight away to be told our policy was already cancelled and there was nothing they could do about it. When I raised the issue of only receiving the letter today and not getting a response to previous enquiry I was told I could be put through to received a new quote. Also to add last week around the 5th December I received my renewal quote and if not contacted they would go ahead and renew automatically. One side of the company doesn't correspond with the other! So after being cut off twice, I have no raised a complaint which I'm being told may talk up to 8 weeks to have a response. I will be contacting the financial ombudsman for further advice. In the meantime I'm left without home insurance at the expense of this companies incompetence. No respect for their long standing customers which show loyalty and 8 years of no claims counts for F*** all! Disgusting!

I emailed to cancel as my renewal quote was considerably higher than expected, I was then given another offer which matched what I seen on comparison sites and was quickly taken through this. all queries were dealt with promptly and an overall pleasant experience.
Whilst I didn’t bother with other quote comparisons, I rang Source to renew and was put through to Gavin. He was very helpful and managed to run some quotes and offered a reduction in price which resulted me staying with Source.

Jan 24,2024I rang today to add a bedroom to a property as I had input 2 instead of 3 the night before . It was all sorted by Heidi very quickly and all revised repayments given . The client was very impressed as was I as a broker as how simply this input error my me was resolved . Especially as the lines were busy with people ringing in with storm danage .
