For me and getting older stairs were becoming a little more difficult, also at this time had decided to move nearer to my daughter and family. I knew at this point a very large flat or house that I could have an Stiltz lift put in. A lovely house was found, lift installed in the corner of my dining room and comes up into my bedroom it,s all so very neat. I kept my staircase as still wanted to use it for exercising, however when needing to carry items they all go in the lift, Brilliant.

only one word required to sum up my experience with the lift supplied and installed by Stiltz "BRILLIANT" would have no hesitation in recommending this to anyone who struggles with getting up and down stairs, it has made our home better than living in a bungalow.

I find it hard to recommend this lift supplier as we had had a lift installed in the 2nd week of October 2021 and to date it has broken down on three separate occasions, requiring and engineer to come out. This left us with out the lift for a couple of days on two occasions. The lift also sends out a signal every time it is used that causes us to lose our internet connection for two minutes which is extremely annoying. H E Russell

I am a retired head of a large county council's community care operations. My mobility is deteriorating and we did not want to leave our home or clutter the house with a stairlift. After some research we chose Stiltz. The whole process took around 3 weeks from first call to installation. The entire process was stress free and flawless: the guys doing the work were friendly, trustworthy and helpful. Most of all they did an excellent job, with all rubbish removed immmediately after completion. We now have a sleek and functional state of the art thru floor lift which we absolutely love.

The best customer service I have experienced in years. You were fully informed all the time of what was happening. The engineers and fitters were excellent. I would recommend STILTZ to anyone - and the lift is just what we required.

The Stiltz lift has met my expectations fully. It is easy to use, of excellent quality, and the installation team carried out their work efficiently and professionally. It takes a week to complete the task but the installers were unfailingly considerate and careful so that home disruption was kept to a minimum. I am very glad that I made the decision to future-proof my home in this fashion.

The Installation went very well until marred by the joiner slipping and putting a foot through ceiling! Ceiling repaired fairly well as Stilz paid for the artex ceiling to be more-or-less re-instated. We are future -proofing the house as I have a neurological conditionso, so that so far the lift has only been used to remove a Filing Cabinet and move a laser Printer from downstairs to upstairs as I do not need it yet.

We moved South and had to renovate the house we had purchased. We are in our seventies and decided that, if we were already renovating, we ought to "future proof" the property and intall a lift. We prefered a lift over a "stair lift" because not only were our stairs too narrow (albeit straight up & down) but with a lift we could transport stuff from the ground to the first floor. We chose Stiltz as they were a company with a good reputation and had that, which we considered, to be attractive models at competitive prices. We were told that because of Covid, and component delays, the waiting time would be longer than usual and we accepted that - we had/have experienced Covid's interference throughout our refurbishment project. We knew there was only one place we could put the lift, which wasn't ideal, in so far as it was from my study to the spare bedroom, and the Stiltz surveyor agreed it was the only practical place. As we had builders in, we decided we would cut the opening and prepare any electrical requirements. The Stiltz surveyor came and apporoved our building work, but told the builder he had to plaster the hole that had been cut out - no explanation was given and it added unforseen costs. On the promised day the installation team arrived - they were efficient, worked cleanly, tieded-up well, and explained everything about the lift, its workings, and its features. My wife had expected the lift and frame to be white, but in fact, the light grey (as shown in the brochure) that the lift came in, suited our decor. The lift runs smoothly - has been great for getting our belongings, furniture, TV's, artworks etc upstairs. There are many safety feature in the lift and the way it operates. We would have no concerns if someone or something was under the lift or on the carpet on the first floor. We are exrtremely pleased with the product - we don't currently use it on a daily basis, but the time will, no doubt, come when we will. Any regrets? - Yes - we have some roof space which serves as a storage loft - we wish we had thought of taking the lift up to the loft. Stiltz is an impressive company, with great staff and a really impressive product!

Upside. Looks great, Works a treat. Allows the use of the full house, very quiet. Seems very reliable, really nice and friendly staff. Stiltz does the lot nothing for the customer to do, except pay of course. Downside. Long four month order to installation time. (Covid and full order book didn't help). Crap local council planning staff.

Pre sales was great, as were the contacts we had prior to placing the order.sadly it’s gone down hill since. We waited ages for installation. Many folk came to survey the house, I had no idea so many were needed. I was not informed about any single arrangement. Those coming said this was a regular problem recently. 5pm the night before fitting was due they sent an email, not even a call, to say it would be delayed, despite the fact I’d double checked the week before and asked for confirmation in writing. The fitting team were polite and professional and cleaned up etc. They kept me updated and explained what was happening. Then when waste was to be collected, there were problems, more was there than was booked and paid for apparently. I phoned Stiltz to explain. They would phone back when they finished a call. I’m still waiting. I reported there are cracks in the ceiling which appear to come from installation, phot on file, but no explanation about options. The only proactive contacts we have had since installation a month ago was the bill, offering additional cover and marketing. However as we are waiting for a third engineer to address errors I didn’t feel inclined to go for more insurance. Variety of error lights. Another that we couldn’t have two people in our trio. Worryingly the lift was hitting the side of the sleeve. Now there is a judder and one of the Stiltz vibrates. We have only had it for one month. Disappointed doesn’t cover it. Keen to get the sale. But one it went to installation team a lack of communication. Difficult to get through to report errors. No one is standing back to say what can we do to make this trouble free. The lift looks good. The company has a good reputation. However the experience of arranging fitting and post fitting have been very poor in our experience sadly. We were offered a Stiltz lift installed by a third party that was cheaper and quicker, but decided to stick with the company. It’s too late for us, but would suggest others consider this as an option. This way you get the lift which looks good, and hopefully will work. But avoids the lack of communication and care we have experienced.

The lift has given us a renewed quality of life. It fits into our stairwell perfectly, and was fitted very professionally and efficiently by craftsmen. Easy to use, it is a great addition to our home, and we would recommend it unreservedly.

As I was finding the stairs very difficult and did not wish to move from my lovely cottage, I decided to look into the possibility of a lift. The first firm that came said it was not possible due to lack of space, but luckily the next day was the appointment with the Stiltz surveyor. No problem he decided - don't you love those words -so I now have my super lift. I found the whole experience top quality the workmen were very considerate. Highly recommended.

We have had the Stiltz Trio for a year. The design is very nice looking. But there are some operational issues that leave much to be desired. The 2nd floor "cap" or floor plug is lifted when traveling from ground to 2nd floor. When descending the cap drops into place to cover the hole between floors. Frequently the cap does not drop into place like it should when the elevator decends. I must physically manipulate the cap to pop it into place. Another issue is the lift makes an awful noise on descent as the roller guides travel. I am convinced it is due to poor alignment of the frame structure the lift rides inside of. If we had it all to do over we would have purchased a different elevator.
