Aug 08,2023Amazing staff, electricians/plumbers/lift fitters. Stiltz policy is to employ their own staff. The lift was fitted in the hall and rises to the landing outside the bedrooms. The coordinated efficient workforce completed the job in 4 days. Wow! has it changed my life!! I’ve regained my independence, I can go upstairs whenever I want to so can a chest of drawers, the Hoover, washing baskets, the dog etc, etc Thank you Stiltz. Viewing available on request

Aug 05,2023The engineers who installed it were really great The office staff were also great but for one area one week after installation I had a call trying to sell me additional warrenty cover this set a seed of doubt in my head what was going to go wrong with the lift when the 1 year warrenty runs out. My mind was put at ease today when I had a call to do a survey on the lift. Overall we are very pleased with our purchase but we would strongly recommend to Stiltz that the sales calls are done after say a 6 or 9 months after the installation is completed

Aug 03,2023We originally purchased the 3 floor extended travel Trio+ lift via a third party who delayed the installation several times then, eventually, on the first day when they were supposed to start cutting the holes decided that that could not proceed. Stiltz stepped in and from that day, with assistance from my builder who cut the holes, they got the lift fitted within a few weeks, they were extremely helpful. The installation team, Sam and Mike along with Will got the lift up an running solving all issues in a positive helpful manner. Their attitude is a credit to Stiltz. A big thank you to all involved I can now easily move up and down the levels. This is fantastic and life changing for me.

The disruption to our normal way of life was minimal during the installation and they always cleaned up following the work undertaken each day. Jul 17,2023The quality of any supplier of a complex electromechanical product can be judged by the way they take ownership of and resolve unexpected issues. The building team arrived on June 29 and rapidly discovered that the surveyor had not got everything right and it appeared that the work done by our plumber in advance to move CH pipes, radiator and power was not sufficient. It soon became clear that everything was OK, with half a day wasted by our plumber who had been on standby the building work could begin. It was completed on Friday afternoon, the building team cleared up and left. Early the following week the installation team arrived, all went well...other that they left a deep gouge in the wood floor in our hall. They took ownership of the problem and worked with us and the builder that had laid the floor in 2011 to replace 2 boards from the stock we had retained for just this sort of issue. The floor was repaired today so the job can be signed off. I've given 5 stars, but really it should be 4.5, because of the damage done, but 5 stars for resolving the problem. The lift is first rate, the installation inconspicuous and the whole procedure, for a complex building process, painless. I think that perhaps they could improve communication between surveyor and both client and head office a little and explain that in any 50 year old house when existing services need alteration the customer has to pay for this, working with the Stiltz surveyor. A clear report detailing the required work would have been helpful. In our case this preliminary work cost about £2000 in all. Bottom line: good product, Good Company and highly Recommended.

Jul 15,2023The whole experience was about 8 weeks from first contacting Stiltz to installation. The men who installed the lift worked extremely hard over 4 days. It was more intrusive than we realised as the whole floor had to be taken up and built in furniture had to be removed which we hadn’t realised but the workmen were brilliant and ensured that our curtain pole could remain. Every house is different and they dealt with problems that arose calmly and imaginatively, really can’t praise them too highly. A glitch that arose after we had carpeted the ‘lid’ of the lift was quickly resolved by Kevin the lift engineer. It has fitted in to our sitting room extremely well and whizzes up to the study. The lift itself is amazing. We hadn’t realised it would be lined in carpet which coincidentally is the same colour as the sitting room carpet and fits in very well with the study decor. It has a built in mobile phone in case you become stuck if you are alone and need to contact Stiltz. It’s extremely quiet and we are delighted!
