Jun 27,2023Lift is wrongly described and explained. The customer service following installation leaves a great deal to be desired. We were reassured that the lift would work if there was a power cut but it only works for about an hour so if the power goes off during the night I am left with no way to get down the following morning.

Jun 12,2023The whole process was seamless and efficient. The salesman make it clear what could be done and where the lift could be fitted. Then everything from survey through planning permission was handled for us. The installation was completed in 2.5 days. All those involved in the process were charming and the workman cleaned up after themselves. We could find no fault in the whole process.

Jun 07,2023From the moment I phoned to enquire to the salesman visit to the final installation, every member of this company were excellent, polite and professional and a credit to the company. I have two elderly parents with early stage dementia and unsuitable open plan stairs which they had fallen down a couple of times, however they are insistent that they are remaining in their own home. Despite the dementia the salesman was courteous to my parents, included them in the conversation, but aimed the technicalities at me. There was no pressure sales. A stipulation of going ahead was a press and go lift not press and hold to go, as I feared they would forget to hold and get stuck half way between floors. Installation was arranged on Thursday & Friday just before the bank holiday weekend and just before I was going away for a short break from the Sunday. Unfortunately on install the lift software did not include press and go but press and hold. Despite their initial protestations that nothing could be done until after the bank holiday, I explained that I couldn’t leave my parents without this function as I had been escorting them up and down the stairs. This company, although they had made a mistake with the software, arranged for a software upgrade in the office on the Friday evening. An operative arrived on Saturday Morning to upgrade (Midlands to Lincolnshire trip). Unfortunately this also failed. A repeat of this was undertaken on Saturday with an operative driving from Cheshire to Midlands to pick up the software arriving in Lincolnshire to successfully complete the upgrade early Sunday morning in time for me to teach Mum and Dad and catch my train to Paris. Although sometimes things go wrong it’s how a company rectify the issue that makes the difference. Considering the Bank Holiday weekend and the pressing deadline of my train Stiltz went above and beyond. Thank you. Mum and Dad have lots more independence with this lift. I would highly recommend.

The lift is the best thing we’ve ever bought and has literally transformed our lives including our dog! Thoroughly recommend this company who have done a superb job. Thank you so much.

May 26,2023We had a great team of builders who cut the hole ready for the Lift on the second day unfortunately one of the team cut his tendons on his thumb which put our installer under pressure who then went on to build our lift on his own until help arrived later. We watched as the lift was going up and down thinking tomorrow it would be finished, somehow the lift was to high as the wrong size lift was delivered so our installer couldn't apologise enough for the inconvenience caused and quickly got this resolved, we had to wait just over a week before the correct lift arrived and the same team came back to start again with a pocket being cut upstairs to accommodate the top of the lift due to our house having a low ceiling height, all done and finished within a fortnight of starting, my wife has been using the new lift for only 6 days and I can't believe the amount of difference it has already made to her life she's much happier and gets up earlier and gets up to bed in seconds instead of struggling with the stairs ,Thank-you all the people at stiltz for resolving the initial problems and improving my wife's life.

May 07,2023Had the Trio installed just over a year ago and have had nothing but trouble with it! Last time out the engineer discovered that wires weren’t connected properly and the lift is repeatedly getting stuck due to the sensors thinking that there is an object below it, despite this not being the case. It has got to the point that we don’t necessarily want to put our disabled daughter in it for fear of her being stuck between floors. Disappointed.
