Jan 11,2024Pretty awful experience. Ordered a white fridge, turned up black. They offered a 5% discount to keep it. When I declined, they told me they don't do exchanges and I'd have to take it to a DPD drop point myself to send it back and get a refund. So, I had to carry a bulky 10kg fridge into the Post Office (the nearest drop point refused to take it owing to the size). The Post Office didn't want to take it either, but after a minor argument they relented. All of this because they sent the wrong item. Imagine if I'd ordered a larger fridge and had to take that into the Post Office. Shambolic.

Jan 07,2024I found the website easy to navigate and ordered the Cave 50 on Friday 5th January and got an order confirmation and within the hour, DPD sent a text saying they were expecting to receive my order. The following morning I got a text from DPD saying my order would be delivered between 11.10am & 12.10pm and I couldn't believe it, dead on 11.10am, they delivered it! Terrific service and communication from Subcold and if all companies ran their businesses as good as this, we could make this country great again! I'm well chuffed with my Cave 50 and will highly recommend this model and Subcold to my friends and family and have already posted on two beer pages I'm a member of.

Jan 02,2024Very simple ordering process, and very quick delivery. I'm not too keen on packages not being wrapped so people can see what it is. The mini fridge is well made, looks great, and gets things chilled nicely. It’s much quieter than I expected, about the same level as a USB plug in desk fan. I’m a very low energy user, and extremely vigilant about my usage. In that context I noticed, via my Smart Meter, that the fridge impacts on my daily power consumption, and the device appears a tad power hungry, but In a typical household I doubt you’d notice.
