Jun 19,2024Pond Clean Russell arrived on time and unloaded an amazing array of tools and equipment then set to work. He carefully removed the fish, frogs and baby fish, all the plants and other stuff into holding tanks and baskets. He then drained the pond and set to work cleaning. During this he found three tears in the liner and made excellent repairs. He cleaned and serviced the pump and filter and gave us advice about upgrading to a larger pump and filter to cope with the size of the pond. Throughout Russell gave us helpful advice about the plants and routine maintenance. At the end of the job, he cleaned and tidied everything leaving us nothing to do but enjoy the beautiful clean pond. I cannot think of any way the service could be improved. Outstanding service from a company that do exactly what they say they will and more. The bill was exactly as quoted with no hidden extras. Fully trustworthy. Thank you.

May 26,2024This was our third attempt at having our waterfall rebuilt and I am delighted to say it will be our last. The boys did a brilliant job moving our fish and some frogs into a holding tank while they thoroughly cleaned the pond. They then used existing stones to form a new and much improved waterfall including finishing it off with gravel and plants/moss from other parts of the garden. The end result looks brilliant, was all done in a day and the fish and frogs returned happily to the pond. Everything was left in perfect order. Great job!

May 17,2024We sadly had to make the decision to decommission our Koi pond after 20 years . Doug done a wonderful job of rehoming our much loved Koi and scheduled the work. Russell & Craig were onsite for over 2 days and done an absolutely amazing job of draining the pond, removing all the surrounding rocks and concrete collar, then filling with 8 tonne of sub soil and 2 tonne of topsoil. Then finally turfing the area which looks fantastic. The guys were friendly, polite, professional and informative throughout. The areas where protected by boards and old liner etc were removed from site with everything left clean. Cannot thank Sussex Pond Doctor Ltd enough and would highly recommend them

Apr 17,2024Craig and Robb expertly revived my three ponds. The fish were removed to a holding tank, while they thoroughly cleaned the ponds, stones, pumps and filters. The refilled ponds are now crystal clear and the fish are in their element. My garden was left clean and tidy.

Mar 17,2024I was persuaded by the excellent reviews to approach the company to clean and overhaul my pond. What a pleasant experience. Doug was extremely helpful and sorted a date for the job. Craig and Robb, as well as being a lovely pair of lads, did a beautiful job restoring my pond and fitting a new filter, expensive but will be a big improvement. They were very clean and efficient workers and left my garden tidy and transformed. My ancient koi (one is fifty years old) are loving their new environment and were well looked after during the process of cleaning.

Mar 01,2024Excellent service from quotation through to completion. I made my first enquiry on Monday and the job of complete maintenance and cleaning was completed by Wednesday evening. The team found a very small leak as they were finishing off at the filter which developed into the need to replace connectors. I was most impressed with the team's determination to fix the problem there and then rather than leave it to another day.

Feb 28,2024My pond had been leaking and I decided to decommission it. Contacted Sussex Pond Doctor and Doug arranged it all. I was apprehensive as there were rocks and plants all around it but Craig and Russell soon made short work of that! My garden was a quagmire with all the rain we've had but they soldiered on and did a magnificent job - filling it in and turfing over. Two of the nicest workmen to have around - friendly, polite, non complaining, efficient and no trouble at all! Well done chaps!

We contacted Sussex Pond Doctor, who seeing the photos, took pity on us and managed to squeeze us in. They were clean, tidy, efficient, friendly and very knowledgeable. Feb 23,2024There was a very quick response to my enquiry, a quick quotation and all was fixed for the service. Two really great guys came yesterday to undertake a full maintenance of my wildlife pond. I watched much of it fascinated to see how my pond had survived until now - and how it was emptied, cleaned and restocked so carefully. My frogspawn and frogs were carefully removed and held until the pond was refilled. I had a few questions about caring for my pond which they were happy to answer. I would recommend this company to anyone seeking pond maintenance.

Very impressed especially with difficult access through my garage and moving 6 tons of soil to fill the hole! The whole team were friendly and completed the job quickly and were great value for money. I would highly recommend Sussex Pond Doctor.

Very polite and knowledgeable staff who have done a great job tidying and pruning the pond and margins. They have left everything tidied away and also given us lots of information about the wildlife in the pond and advice on how to look after it until their next visit.

Jul 06,2024We can thoroughly recommend these guys for any pond work. They rebuilt and extended our koi pond looking after our fish during the week long process. Doug was particularly good in creating a water feature at one end to provide a beach garden for marginal plants.
