Oct 03,2023The whole feeling that the individual coaches give is friendly and positive, with the office staff always helpful at the end of the phone. I found the content of the seminars and books enriching and giving clear teaching. The company are very professional and well organised. My only advice would be to notice when it is taking someone longer to qualify and reach out to them with an email inviting them to talk. Having said that, the fellow students are amazingly supportive.

Sep 14,2023CED: Coaching through change - delivered by Kris Thorne. An excellent accelerator course. Lots of great content and tools to use and explore further, with great further reading recommendations. Coaching through change is becoming more and more imperative as my role as a Coach and Trainer for companies going through Digital Transformation. So it was great to get working knowledge from Kris - also working in this area - a real synergy! I have been able to put the coaching tools, and theory from the course into my sessions. Kris Thorne gave me the confidence to do this. Kris is a wonderful trainer/coach helping to simplify some gnarly human behaviour topics :) . The course was delivered with empathy and compassion. Thank you Kris :)

There's a variety of activities so you're not just being a zombie for 2 hours; you're also given lots of opportunities for networking with other coaches, which is of itself really helpful. Sep 02,2023The Coaching Academy only seem interested in taking your money with little or no regard for student well-being. I signed up at the end of January 2023, and paid half of the course fees. Devastatingly, my son died suddenly and unexpectedly at the start of February & I was unable to start the course. Despite having paid over £2500 & received the materials, no-one from the Academy seemed to notice I hadn’t started the course, & no-one contacted me about this. The only communication I have had is to ask for the 2nd payment. Having explained my situation, a payment ‘holiday’ was agreed until October, but there was still no well-being contact regarding the course itself. Then, despite the agreed payment arrangement, I received another email asking for payment in August, from a different person. I had to explain my circumstances again (it was difficult enough the first time). I also asked how I could get a refund as I’m not sure I will be able to complete the course considering my recent trauma, but this part of my email was not acknowledged. Communication and concern student welfare seems to be non-existent. Ironic for a company promoting coaching courses.

It was very professionally delivered, with great enthusiasm, confidence, knowledge and inspiration for how to work with future clients and the wider groups of people in life. Aug 24,2023I graduated from TCA some time ago, and it has never occurred to me to write a review for them! I enjoyed every second of the training and it prepared me for being a coach really well, from day one I felt I could do it and wanted to do it. The quality of delivery of the coaching training, organisation, super professional and talented trainers and the size of the trainee community (I met some great people there although it was face-to-face training), made a huge difference to my life. Thank you, TCA.
