It was packed with useful content and delivered in a very engaging way by Mike Blissett, one of their trainers. I really valued The Coaching Academy's support in putting on sessions like this, that support coaches in developing their businesses - not just training to be coaches.

Feb 19,2023I waited a long time to attend the Coaching Specialism Workshop - Confidence with Pam Lidford at TCA, and I can confidently say that it far exceeded my expectations! Not only did I learn how to apply the invaluable tools in this specialism within the GROW model, but it helped to de-mystify any pre-conceived ideas and understanding when nominalising the word - confidence. I learned how to spot the difference between true confidence and self-esteem for instance whilst coaching clients who may unknowingly have a self-esteem issue. And, how to identify and coach around secondary gain when subconsciously a person believes it is better to keep an issue than to eliminate it This workshop truly raised my awareness of how simple it can be to coach around confidence. I felt thrilled and turbocharged to integrate these learnings into my coaching practice going forward. Thank you again, Pam, and TCA! Once again, amazing stuff!

Feb 17,2023DISC subject was interesting and informative but the tuition was quite jumpy for me that style of learning was hard to follow, and almost impossible to take notes. I was also disappointed that there was a 20 min sales pitch on session 3 which could have been used for a learning activity. I would have liked to see more breakout time for leaning activities.

Feb 14,2023An informative session with a lot of practical advice and help. The tutor was very experienced and knowledgeable and was professional and approachable. She clearly lives by her values. She demonstrated patience and inclusivity throughout. There was a mixture of teaching methods that suited all learning styles.

Feb 11,2023Accelerator sessions are informative but not practical. Trainees need and want to be coaching and applying the techniques as much as possible. Also, there is no access to Accelerator recordings or presentations to review the learning and there is a 250$+ charge to take another training so the training doesn't feel very fair. Finally, there is no active support to create / find coaching buddies to train with. Trainees are left to their own devices to try and find someone which could be improved by simply assigning trainees together in groups.

I really liked the different learning methods of the PPD - live training, webinars, peer to peer discussions and mentoring. I would highly recommend to those pursuing a professional coaching qualification

Jan 27,2023The DISC certification training over three days was an informative and enjoyable experience. There was plenty of interaction within the group which I enjoyed as it gave us the opportunity to learn from each other as well as from our training lead. I feel confident to debrief clients on their profile although I would have liked more detail on graph reading as this wasn’t really covered in any depth. It is part of the next level of accreditation. Sharon did a great job of answering questions along the way and the technical aspect of the course was managed really smoothly by Kiki. Overall I think the level of education was good and worth the investment.

Jan 22,2023An extensive course with good material, the accelerator days are really good and allow you to connect with other students. The Facebook page is really helpful for meeting others and gaining practice clients. The online platform needs updating as it is often slow and material is quite old, however recently this has started to be updated.
