Dec 13,2020The process of completing a 3 year long project included a 48 volt inverter as the project. I use this inverter to power tools, lighting, and an air compressor to fill a ballast tank with large hose blow down valve. During implementation of this first time project for me, I had many questions from AIMS power on the inverter as well as the charge controller I purchased also. All of my technical questions were answered, and I am completely satisfied with the results. The installation manual has a few contradictions, and once those were clarified, the hookup was completed. I have used the inverter with the remote switch many times since installation, and it has worked flawlessly.

Dec 09,2020I believe I have received used material without any information on how to use it, owner manual or whatever else. After talking to customer service for a return or exchange, they asked so many questions and so much information and conditions that I did not have anymore time and patience to continue. Customer service not friendly at all and no, I won’t recommend anyone to do business with them. Look somewhere else. Ivan B.

Dec 08,2020I waited until I had some run time on this Solar System,{2 mos.} and so far everything is running perfect, this 12,000w Inverter performs just like Aims said it would. I can run everything inside the Home on this 3300 watt system, in the garage I run my 2hp compressor, 115v welder or 220v welder. We only do a load of laundry or dishwasher on sunny days, towards evening we cut back on usage and batteries are most times above 70% by morning, within a couple of hours of bright sun they are 100%. On snow days I run my Diesel Generator 1hr in morning 1hr in evening, a little more if needed to keep batteries above 60%

Dec 02,2020They sent me a faulty AIMS inverter/charger. They then charged me a restocking fee when I returned it and would not respond to me emails on the issue. I've stopped shopping with this company. Their response is below, so I'll respond to their response: I have at least three follow-up emails that were never responded to. Also, any damage the unit sustained while being returned to you has nothing to do with it being faulty when I received it. The items you docked me for were aesthetic. A simple functional test would have confirmed the issues I was having.

Nov 24,2020I was hoping this 5000 watt 24v inverter would outperform my old 3000 watt 12v inverter. It does not appear to so far. Not sure what the problem is yet. This 5000 watt inverter was missing the plastic connector covers depicted in the web site pictures. I found out later that they are no longer available. Seems like a potential shock hazard. Built in outlets are each only good for 1500 watts according to the manual.
