Oct 09,2014I called and gave a detailed inventory to the company. I was quoted a price but when the team showed up, they informed me it would be another price. After some discussion they agreed to the original price but didn't take all of the items so I had to remove those myself.

Aug 23,2014My father had to me moved to a nursing home and I needed to clean up his apartment for his return. I called The Junk Pros for an estimate, a gentleman came to my father's house and spoke to me about my situation and what I needed to do. After must consideration, I called and made an appointment; the team came and treated my fathers house and belongings with respect and took only the items i selected. Thanks for making a hard decision easier. I highly recommend them.

Aug 15,2014I recently needed to empty out the contents of my deceased best friend's very cluttered apartment. I had gone through it a few times to take out the valuables, but since I live in a different borough (with no car), emptying it out would have been impossible for me. The Junk Pros came to the rescue. They showed up on time (actually early), worked like horses, and left the 2-bedroom apartment broom-clean by the end of the day.They were courteous, professional, and sensitive to the situation. I don't know what I would have done without them. The price was reasonable (not cheap), and worth every penny. I recommend them without hesitation.

Aug 15,2014I hired Junk Pros to remove office furniture from a three story office space. They sent a team of eight and did the work quickly and thoroughly. They left the space tidy. The rates were reasonable. I have already called them again for a similar job.

Jul 24,2014The Junk Pros team was exceptional. I'm a real estate agent in New York City and I called in the Junk Pros for a very difficult clean-up of a two-bedroom estate listing. They gave us a very fast estimate and then cleared the space quickly and perfectly. Throughout the process, they were very flexible in dealing with us, and they were always easy to reach when we needed them. I've recommended them several times since--and will continue to recommend them!

They have always acted professionally, their work is thorough and most importantly I do not get complaints from managing agents about their performance. They remove all garbage from the premises and work with supers and buiding managers even in very difficult situations.

Jul 11,2014I hired The Junk Pros Company to remove old and excess furniture from the agency for distruction.When they arrived that day, it was raining very heavy and even though the weather was terrible they performrd admirably. The crew was very professional, respectful,hard working and was able to do the job so effectively as though it was not raining.I will recommend The Junk Pros without any hesitation anytime anyplace.

Jun 25,2014I'm in the business of selling real estate, and occasionally have the task of selling an apartment or home that is the subject of an estate sale. More often than not, the recently deceased person was elderly and/or sickly, and did not have the ability to clean and/or pare down belongings over the years. In essence, they became junk collectors, making the sale of their home or apartment most difficult, if not impossible. In those circumstances, my solution has always been to immediately call THE JUNK PROS. After identifying the items that needed removal, THE JUNK PROS did the rest. Their very capable crews literally boxed, bagged and hauled all the unwanted furniture, clothing and personal items off the premises into their own truck (alleviating the need for a dumpster) with the assurance that its contents would be properly and legally disposed of. Cost was based on the size of the load, and within a reasonable time, an unmanageable situation suddenly became manageable. The space had been reclaimed. THE JUNK PROS are on speed dial for me, and are an invaluable asset for my business. They are also licensed and insured, so I can use them in condos and coops where all contractors and vendors must be compliant. THE JUNK PROS TAKE THE NUISANCE OUT OF JUNK!

My situation was treated with respect from the estimate process, through the final "broom clean", and it wasn't an easy task (as the team would probably remember). Jun 22,2014Craig and Andrew (I think it was Andrew) called ahead, and came right when they said they would. They worked hard for two and a half hours (I had to remind them to take breaks for water since it was hot), and worked so efficiently. The only flaw in my situation was I scheduled with the answering service and they didn't convey the message properly so the company called me in the morning and there was a chance my appointment didn't exist. In the end they were able to push it to an hour later than originally planned but that was fine. Also the rate the answering service told me was lower than the actual rate, but thankfully it worked out anyway. The price is great for the work the guys did and I'd recommend them in a heart beat.

I contacted this company the paperwork was emailed to me and Rose took care of my needs! The new homeowners will appreciate the fact that they will be moving into a home that has been totally cleaned out by the Junk Pros!

Jun 16,2014Everyone was friendly, helpful and very efficient---Rose in the Office, Gary giving estimates in the field and the whole work crew on the day of clean out. They made a dreadful project as painless as it could be! The JunkPros team hauled away a huge amount of rubbish in a very short time. This job was difficult--3 flights up with lots of heavy items such as boxes of books, firewood, etc. They were well organized and made short work of it. Thanks!!

Oct 09,2014...actually, one and a-half loads! I was at a loss on how to clean out a 3-BR apartment that I wanted to rent. I was only in town for a few weeks to handle the chore and although I tried the donation route, I was disappointed to discover that many organizations did not come out to my area in the Bronx. I found Junk Pros online and called for an estimate. The estimator came within a day or so and was ON TIME. The 3 great guys who did the actual work were ON TIME, courteous, PRESENTABLE, and extremely efficient. I had tried to consolidate as much as possible everything to be hauled away. But the gentlemen were very patient and accurate when I pointed to "Just that, not that; only these, but don't touch those..." etc. They were also careful in going down my 2 flights of stairs. Only one small ding in the very narrow stairwell, which they did point out to me--they did not try to "get away with it." No worries, I was scheduled to paint afterwards. They broom cleaned when they were done and left everything very tidy. I would recommend them to anyone who just needs to GET RID OF IT ALL without extra time, energy or worry
