We’ve got the best furniture makers in the country for starters; we’re part of a group which includes Parker Knoll, G Plan and Duresta, and have been making fantastic quality sofas and chairs for decades - it’s safe to say we know our stuff. Our craftsmen have tested and tweaked every one of our twelve sofas and six chairs over and over again to get them just right. Our frames are thoroughly thought through, made in the UK and guaranteed for 10 years.
The product was good quality. Hence two stars. The fact that it bore little resemblance to the colour on the website and although we tried to view at one of their outlets (they didn’t have the right samples) meant we had to return after waiting five months for delivery and were charged £110 for the privilege (anyone who knows the first thing about shipping knows their true costs are a fraction of that). So make sure you get a sample, get ready for a long wait and hope you don’t need to return or you will be severely out of pocket.
I ordered 4 cushions and waited 4 months for them to arrive. The fabric is very rough and stiff feeling. A bit disappointed after paying £150 and waiting 4 months for scatter cushions.
Friendly service, helpful over the phone, delivery was delayed but told us what was going on so can't complain.
I purchased a beautiful chair after a disaster with a store in Norwich, but when I reordered direct with the Lounge Company every thing went very smoothly all over he staff are very helpful and courteous, I am looking forward to ordering some more furniture from them. The chair is so comfortable
I received my sofa at the end of October 2020 and I can honestly say that I’ve sat on it less than five times. The foam seat cushions give zero support to my back and feel like I’m floundering when I sit on it. I feel like there is a big blue elephant in the room that I just don’t know what to do with. It’s not at all like the sofa I sat on in the shop when I was persuaded to have the foam cushions. Customer Service is harsh and unhelpful. . I have asked for the foam to be replaced with fibre and would happily stuff it myself so that I can sit on the thing. But apparently they would only replace like for like and only if it’s damaged so I’m left with a very expensive mistake. And to cap it all the people who delivered it damaged my wooden floor when they were putting it in the sitting room but didn’t tell me what they’d done. I only discovered it later. Too late for them to take action. So all in all I have a very uncomfortable unused sofa taking up space and a scratched wooden floor.
Even though the sofa didn’t fit, the customer service was excellent from start to finish and we received a full refund. Naturally disappointed but wouldn’t hesitate to order a different sofa from them. The only reason we won’t is that we got rid of our old sofa already and have to order one that can be delivered immediately.
A lovely sofa, but... the delivery guys just left it in the street. We asked them to wait while we got our builders to help them lift it up the stairs, but they just left. Not impressed.
This is my second purchase from the Lounge Co and I wasn’t disappointed!!! Delivery was later than expected due to delays - which was initially disappointing and I wish the Lounge Co had offered a complimentary cushion or something but ultimately I am extremely happy with the sofa and the quality and the service from the delivery team. The sofa is heavenly to lie on (Lola is an awesome style) I already want to buy another. Love the value and quality and range of fabrics.

Adam (Lounge Co), You seem to be able to respond to the complaints on here, in the public domain, within 24hrs, to protect your brand, yet the emails we send to your company are not deemed important enough for a reply. Sofa ordered in October for pre Christmas delivery and no sign of it still Firstly it was the foam issue and then we were told that due to demand our fabric was in short supply We emailed 25th January for an update and chased subsequently but no response. No way of contacting by phone either Very, very poor...
Ordered in September for pre xmas delivery... got a delivery date at end of Nov - on the day of delivery, rang delivery company and were told sofa wasn’t there. Hadn’t even been made. Had to chase numerous times for customer service to help. Just left us over xmas and new year - with no sofa I might add as obviously got rid of ours on the day we were due delivery - finally got it end of Jan. (one person on service team was great!That’s all). No compensation, no apology. Awful experience all round. We could have used any company and it isn’t cheap - next time will go elsewhere - not worth the stress or hassle. We would have understood the ‘covid’ excuse if someone had actually called us! Please note - they did email me as per the reply, after I called and emailed them and there was a big delay on responding - but initially the courier company told me on the day the sofa was due that it wouldn’t be coming!
Delighted with my 2 new 3-seater Melody sofas. They are extremely comfortable, stylish and well made. The Lounge Co offered excellent service throughout, from initial enquiries, through ordering to delivery.
I ordered two sofas and two footstools. I should say that the quality is very disappointing. Sofas arrived damaged but after a few month they still didn’t schedule a time to fix it. Very very slow in replying your enquiries. I ordered footstools with sofa but they only delivered sofas timely. After contacting them a few times over 3 month, I decided to cancel the footstools as they were not responding properly. Every time, I have been told that the footstools are with the delivery team and you will have them shortly!!!! Disgusting
They promised delivery before Christmas, we fully paid the amount beginning of December but still waiting for product to arrive, terrible costumer service not recommended this company!!!!
Where to begin... after ordering a sofa back in September and confirming all the details multiple times, after 3 months of waiting (standard delivery period) I received THE WRONG SOFA, in a completely different colour and fabric to what I ordered. This was incredibly disappointing especially after having waited so long to have a sofa in my new home. After contacting customer service and providing all details including pictures of the fabric swatch and actual sofa, I was informed this would be resolved urgently. Fast forward one month... I have only just now received a reply asking for a fabric swatch of the wrong sofa, so that the manufacturer can determine whether or not this colour is acceptable??! To be clear - the two fabrics are completely different and there is no doubt in the matter, so this feels increasingly like forced delays on the manufacturer’s and The Lounge Co.’s side and desperately trying to shift the blame. I am increasingly concerned by the terrible customer service and how long this matter has been dragging on, when the very simple solution would be to just make the sofa I ordered and paid for four months ago.
Purchased a sofa & love seat in October under the guarantee delivery would be prior to christmas. Two weeks before Christmas the company emailed to say delivery would be mid to late January. And just today they have emailed to say that delivery would now be mid - end of March. Very very disappointing in our new home.
Good Customer Service, Very helpfull through the pandemic, keeping us up to date with clear explanations on our products. Our armchair is very comfortable and is a quality product. We also purchased a blanket box/footstool which is very good.
We did experience a few hitches with delivery but as soon as this was pointed out to the company the situation was resolved very quickly. The Jacob chair is extremely well made, comfortable and beautiful to look at - so a bonus all round. We would recommend this company.
