We at The Lounge Co. know what makes a great sofa. We’ve got the best furniture makers in the country for starters; we’re part of a group which includes Parker Knoll, G Plan and Duresta, and have been making fantastic quality sofas and chairs for decades - it’s safe to say we know our stuff. Our craftsmen have tested and tweaked every one of our twelve sofas and six chairs over and over again to get them just right. Our frames are thoroughly thought through, made in the UK and guaranteed for 10 years.

We bought a wonderful armchair from The Lounge. Great choice in terms of customisation of detail, cover fabric etc. Wait was about three months due to COVID but initial deposit was a rather small share of the total cost (perhaps 25 per cent). Delivery arrangements were smooth.

Average service, despite expecting otherwise. The sofa was delivered late which half expected due to current condition and material shortage. However when delivered, the sofa was placed in the room as the delivery company was running 2 hours behind with a further 10+sofas to deliver, so basically was informed "to build yourself", this was to an OAP whom did not have the capacity to do so. The follow up was just as average as the Service Team forgot to take the initial deposit at the beginning and called multiple of times to chase for payment which was very valid but not once did they check on the service, delivery, condition of sofa etc. Actually there has been zero customer follow up from time of ordering (Oct) through to delivery (Jan). So whilst the sofa is good, the level of service expected has been below average for the above reason.

Hi I ordered a joseph chair back in august/September and waited until the 6th Feb for delivery. That in itself wSnt a problem but from the very beginning I have had no contact with the lounge co except to pay and be told the delivery was going to be delayed. I was promised an email confirmation for the deposit, none came. I enquired by phone about it because I was worried I wouldn't hear when it was going to arrive. I was assured the email would be sent but still nothing. Luckily I had a message from the delivery side and was given a date for delivery. On that day the chair was deposited and left. I was given assurance the chair would be assembled and the packaging would be removed. Not so. I then had a phone call 2 days later and paid the balance. I was told I would receive an email to confirm I had paid. Guess what, nothing. I have nothing to show I have paid over £500 for a chair and so therefore no comeback if I have any problems. I have emailed asking to sort this out but still nothing. I was recommended the lounge co by a friend but unfortunately will not be returning the favour to anyone soon.

The sofa is exactly what we wanted in terms of dimension and great quality, although the colour/material was a bit different from expected. The delivery service was really, really excellent with the guys doing everything for us which we were so thank full for. The waiting times were very long though between purchase and delivery.

Beautiful and comfortable sofa, although the promise of the delivery was disappointed. They promised it for Christmas but I received it in early February.

I gave an order for a 4 seater Josie sofa on 1st of November 2020. When we were trying to pick the fabric for the sofa, we selected one but the customer the representative told us that fabric is not very good and can be easily ruined during cleaning, which was really odd, because why sell this fabric if it's so bad. Anyway, with their recommendations, we selected another one and gave the order. We were moving to an unfurnished house and had to buy everything from scratch. Because of that, we started with selecting the sofa and then carpet, coffee tables etc according to the sofa’s colour palette. Our every order delivered on time in the lockdown with the same difficulties of Brexit and Covid. And we trusted to this company about delivery dates and been trying to get by without a sofa. It has been more than 5 months since we gave our order. First I called them in mid-January and I have been told they are having problems with foam. But our order would be ready by February and delivered within the first week of February. And then I called around 10th of February and this time I have been told that the very fabric we have been advised with high praises has some problems and because of that our sofa couldn’t even be produced yet. And in all these instances we have not been called or contacted/updated on the problems on our order by Lounge Co, no, on the contrary, I have to call and chase to what happened to my order. And now after I called them again for an update I received an e-mail that the new batch of the fabric also has problems and they don’t want to speculate about the delivery date. If they aren't going to speculate about and order who will? They do not take any responsibility or even try to find a solution. I can’t believe that after 5 months all I am hearing is nothing. All in all the process has been really annoying, frustrating, disappointing, and cost me a lot of time. Now I have to order another sofa from a trustworthy company and probably wait a while for it to be produced. I really find this level of bad customer relations and this level of incompetence unacceptable. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I will never purchase anything from Lounge Co again and would not advise anyone else. I send them an e-mail to cancel my order because they never open customer care telephone numbers. And I am yet to hear back from them. It's unbelievable.

Bought a sofa back in July, it was delivered in September. The cushions were terrible and very uncomfortable. They had no cushioning and were very flat. Lounge Co. Eventually agreed to swap the sofa in November. We have just received the new sofa and are happy with it so far. (Numerous phone calls and emails made in order to get the exchange - exhausting procedure.) Unfortunately the main issue is the way in which this company deal with customer concerns. My husband and I have had to make numerous phone calls and send email after email to get answers around the exchange, collection order and now how we get our refund through the finance company. I requested this information back in November and again several times since yet we are still waiting for someone to tell us where our money is. So fed up with having to phone and email almost every day. No one calls back and no one seems to know what’s going on. Waiting for around £600 to be returned, and in the mean time, a new finance agreement has been set up and we are now paying for this one. Ridiculous service. I emailed someone called Michaela last week and spoke to someone called Jaye through email yet no one has got back to us to tell us what’s happening with our money. A week now since our sofa was collected and returned to lounge co. Will not be recommending this company to friends/family in case they would need to get help/advice through customer service. Update 8.3.20 Reasonable time to get back to customers should not be months on end! Can’t blame covid for bad customer service/communication. In 3-4 months it will have been a year since this started. That is not reasonable in terms of timings. We are still waiting for our money and no one has contacted me.

Visited the showroom in December picked a sofa from lots of options. Interest free repayment credit, delivered 10 weeks later with good communication throughout.

Very pleased with our new sofa, armchair and stool from the Rose range. Quality seems very good and they're extremely comfortable. They even arrived a couple of weeks earlier than anticipated. The delivery men were very helpful and fixed the legs on for us so all we had to do was to sit down and enjoy them.

Floyd Chair arrived this morning with delivery being quicker than proposed when we ordered. The chair is of great quality and the service from The Lounge Co - communication and delivery has been excellent. Time now to sit and relax - happy days !

Ordered a corner sofa and foot stool in December sale. Order arrived ahead of the expected date, minus the foot stool due to supply issue. Sofa is exceptional quality and very happy. Foot stool has now followed just over a week later, also very happy. Delivery service were very professional and very informative and helpful. Highly recommend this company if you are looking for a sofa.

Disappointed with waiting 16 weeks for delivery after purchasing under a 10 week guarantee and thought the compensation was shocking as well as the customer service

Beautiful sofa! Took a long time to arrive but was worth the wait. Delivery and installation guys were quick and efficient. There was a small tear in the sofa but the lounge company have arranged for someone to come and repair it within a couple of weeks of arrival. Good service all in all.

I bought Penelope 4 seater sofa a couple of years ago. Unfortunately from the very start we had issues with the cushions and both leather covers had to be replaced. Just after a year, the back cushions became so floppy and saggy, and couldn't be plumped up. Now 2 years later - the leather looks so worn, has lost also its colour and need 2 new back cushions as it looks 10 years old rather than 2. I did customer service to be told i have to buy both cushions and pay full price as the warranty has ended. Disappointed to say the least that it's lasted this little and wouldn't be purchasing any more products.
