Our craftsmen have tested and tweaked every one of our twelve sofas and six chairs over and over again to get them just right. Mar 23,2021While I am satisfied with the Lounge Co. product now it's assembled (an armchair) the customer care around the time of delivery was poor. The item arrived with faulty transfer legs which could not be removed - the issue related to the item's production, not the delivery contractor. I was told a technician couldn't visit to resolve the problem for four days following delivery which was especially problematic as I live in a small London flat and the item, in a packed-up state and unable to be stood in position, was taking up most of my living space. Therefore, I had to resolve the problem privately because it couldn't wait. The situation was clearly explained to Lounge Co's Customer Care team. Given it was, in effect, a failed delivery, I requested that the £40 delivery fee be refunded as a gesture - not a large amount compared to the sum I spent on the item itself - and that I would regard the small refund as a satisfactory conclusion to the problem. The request was swiftly declined by Lounge Co. with the defensive explanation that they had contacted the repair technician the same day so any customer care responsibilities had been honoured. My subsequent email, disagreeing with this fairly odd thesis, has gone unacknowledged for over two weeks. I contrast this with the 20 minutes it took Lounge Co. to return my call to take my deposit payment when I placed my order. My complete dissatisfaction with this outcome owes itself to the lofty dismissiveness of Lounge Co's position, and the grasping miserliness it exposes. In a separate phone call to the Chiswick store about the delivery issue, the sales manager suggested I had been lucky to be offered a technician visit as early as I was. It's clear from conversations with both the sales team at the Chiswick branch and the Customer Care team, that Lounge Co. haughtily regards itself as a cut-above other high street furniture retailers. While others can take their own view on the quality of their products, the customer care I experienced was bad, especially compared to other companies I've used to furnish my flat in recent months. I will not buy any future items from Lounge Co. nor do I recommend them to prospective furniture buyers on the basis of this experience.

Mar 18,2021We decided to take a chance on The Lounge Co after ordering a sofa elsewhere that was faulty and poor quality and had to be returned. Whilst ordering furniture during a global pandemic isn’t ideal as you can’t see it in real life and the 16 week delivery time was a long, tedious wait but thank goodness it was worth it!!! We went for the Holly chaise and purchased it in an amazing Black Friday deal. It is everything I hoped for and more. It’s very comfortable and my husband and I and our two children fit in with space to spare. My end obviously has the chaise which is a luxurious addition if you are lucky enough to have the space. Thank you it’s perfect 👌

However I still rate this company 5 stars as my experience with customer service and ease as which I was able to rectify my complaint was very straightforward. The sofa is great quality. Amazing fabric and ample filling, cushions/seats weigh a ton!

They acted quickly, without fuss and sorted out all the issues, even taking Covid into consideration with the stores being closed the service and communication was outstanding and I would certainly recommend this company.

Mar 14,2021The sofa is excellent, very comfortable and ready earlier than first advised. But delivery was okay, but was told they didn’t take away packaging or fit feet. Have since been told feet should have been fitted, so not happy especially was fitting them is quite fiddly, which we still haven’t done. Plus the should have taken packaging. For £40 delivery is rubbish.

Mar 11,2021The sofa is brilliant. It feels well made and is extremely comfortable. Unfortunately the sofa was delayed because of a shortage of materials, which I understand is out of their control. They did agree to remove my old sofa for free as it was delayed again which was very helpful. I did find that when I phoned up for an update I was spoken to quite abruptly, which I didn't think was necessary considering I had waited 4 months and I had been very patient and polite. Also I was told my sofa would be delivered, constructed and rubbish removed, but they turned up, dropped the sofa off still wrapped and in a few pieces. So it was down to me to change the feet, fit it together and dispose of the rubbish. All in all happy with the sofa but room for improvement on the customer service side.

Mar 24,2021Happy with our Jacob chair. Good quality and a nice designer look. Good customer experience aswell. The only gripe I have is the colour Juniper Berry that we chose does not match the website photos, it is a bit lighter. We should have ordered the swatches first.
